  • Patent number: 11481714
Abstract: Disclose are various approaches for optimizing operation of an autonomous wireless mobile asset monitoring system. The approaches involve detecting the presence of cargo in a mobile asset. First, if energy conservation is a requirement of the system, each zone of the mobile asset is scanned until cargo is detected in one of the zones. Then, the results of the scan are transmitted to backend infrastructure. Alternatively, if energy conservation is not a requirement of the system, every zone of the mobile asset is scanned and the results of the scan are transmitted to backend infrastructure.

  • Patent number: 11452035
Abstract: Low-complexity wireless messaging procedures enable a prospective user device to select and make initial contact with a suitable base station in 5G or 6G networks. In some embodiments, the user device may transmit a short “hailing message”, on a frequency allocated for at-will messaging. The hailing message is configured to elicit a reply message from each base station within range. The base stations delay their responses by different amounts according to the amplitude of the as-received hailing message, the shortest delay for the strongest signal. Since the base station with highest received amplitude responds first, the user device can thereby select the first reply message and communicate with the base station having the best signal. The hailing message thereby enables the user device to select the most suitable base station, acquire its system information, and begin communications, while avoiding the time and complexity involved in searching for that information separately.

  • Patent number: 11419165
Abstract: The invention provides a method and system for establishing a connection between a client device of a plurality of client devices and a Wi-Fi access point of a plurality of Wi-Fi access points using a cloud platform. In an embodiment, the cloud platform identifies one or more target Wi-Fi access points and transmits an SSID-password tuple associated with the client device to the one or more target Wi-Fi access points. The one or more target Wi-Fi access points, then, broadcast an SSID of the client device and upon detecting the broadcast, the client device selects a target Wi-Fi access point and transmits a message with a pre-stored SSID-password tuple to the target Wi-Fi access point. Thereafter, the target Wi-Fi access point authorizes the client device to access the target Wi-Fi access point based on a comparison of the pre-stored SSID-password tuple and the SSID-password tuple received from the cloud platform.
