    Abstract: A pair of rectangular metal side cases are attachable to opposite sides of the rear fork of a motor cycle and have side opening doors. A top case is attached to the frame of the cycle in bridging relation across the tops of the side cases and has a top opening lockable lid. A pair of smaller cases with front opening doors are arranged along the sides of the top case and in flash relation with the outer sides of the side cases. A pair of hydraulic jacks are mounted vertically on the front walls of the side cases, and an hydraulic pump is attached to the inner side of one of the side cases and connected to actuate the jacks. An electrical control panel mounted inside the front wall of one side case has connections adapted to be connected to the battery of the cycle and to the motor of the pump and to emergency signals and communication equipment on the cycle and the cases with control switches external to the case. Three metal panels form walls that are common to two or more of the cases.

A rod is longitudinally slidably mounted in said tubular fork shaft and has a lower end portion which is enlarged in width and extends under said bolt when the latter is in said locking position. A hook is secured to said lock and movable therewith between a lower position, in which said hook cooperates with said upper fork bridge to form a closed latch therewith, and an upper position, in which said hook is spaced above said upper fork bridge.

    Abstract: An ice chest included in a container which is suitable for mounting upon a rear rack or carrier on a motorcycle. The container includes a second, separate compartment for containing dry goods which is positioned adjacent the ice compartment for maintaining such goods in a cooled condition. The ice compartment houses a removable tray which supports beverage containers adapted to be kept cold within the chest. The ice compartment and dry compartment include separate covers and locking or closure means. A fresh water compartment is also provided within the ice compartment and has an externally accessible faucet extending through the side wall of the chest. Drainage for the water resulting from melting ice is also provided for, and the rear of the chest has a padded back rest mounted thereon for the rider of the motorcycle.

The combination may also include a carrying handle and attachment for self-standing. The cable is secured to the middle portion of the central bar, and is wrapped from opposite ends about the upper and lower sections of the rungs, respectively, so that each of the ends is accessible for unwinding to a desired length.

    Abstract: A sling device for a rifle or the like comprising first and second elongated flexible straps each having first and second ends. The first ends of the flexible straps are adjustably secured together by means of adjustment hooks. The other end of the second strap has a D-ring mounted thereon which is slidably mounted on the first strap. The second end of the first strap has a post screw extending through a U-shaped portion of the first strap. A snap lock strap is secured to the post screw and has a snap lock mounted thereon which may be detachably secured to the second end of the second strap to maintain the second strap in position relative to the first strap. With the snap lock fastened, the sling may be used in conventional fashion or may be used by separating the straps to permit the rifle to be slung diagonally across the chest of the hunter.

    Abstract: A collapsible awning for use with a back pack is disclosed which comprises a frame having opposite side rod members detachably secured to a back pack frame by clamps and a front member detachably secured to the side members and extending therebetween. The clamps are pivotally mounted to the pack frame and detachably secure the awning frame to the back pack frame such that the awning frame is securely maintained in a generally horizontal position above the head of the back pack wearer. The pivotal mounting the clamp allows the awning to be pivoted upward to aid in initially putting on the back pack. Magnetic catches hold the clamps from random pivotal motion when the awning is not being used. An elastic shock absorbing member extends from the side frame member to the back pack frame to aid the clamps in maintaining the position of the awning frame during use in windy weather.
