  • Patent number: 9749581
Abstract: A user's eye gaze is corrected in a video of the user's face. Each of a plurality of templates comprises a different image of an eye of the user looking directly at the camera. Every frame of at least one continuous interval of the video is modified to replace each of the user's eyes with that of a respective template selected for that frame, whereby the user is perceived to be looking directly at the camera in the modified frames. Different templates are selected for different frames of the continuous interval so that the user's eyes exhibit animation throughout the continuous interval.

Abstract: A peer-to-peer forwarding node supports the operation of a teleconference across a telecommunications network. The telecommunications network comprises a plurality of nodes including one or more source locations and one or more remote locations. The teleconference includes teleconference participants at each of the source and remote locations. The peer-to-peer forwarding node is located at a given one of the plurality of nodes. The peer-to-peer forwarding node comprises a receiver and a transmitter. The receiver receives a request from a telecommunications controller to provide peer-to-peer forwarding of a media signal to be received from a first one of the source locations to a first one of the remote locations and which further receives the media signal from the first one of said source locations. The transmitter forwards the media signal from the first one of the source locations to the first one of the remote locations.

  • Patent number: 9680993
Abstract: A web-based hosted solution through which business entities create and manage communications campaigns is described. To reduce latency of customer-to-agent connections, the system implements an agent stay-on-line function by which a persistent telephony connection is established and maintained between the system infrastructure and an available agent. In this manner, the agent may handle multiple customers while avoiding an ACD hold queue. In addition, preferably a service-side hold queue also is established and maintained on the service-side of the infrastructure. This hold queue maintains calls that are waiting to be connected to available agents. It ensures that any customer abandons do not impair the connections being established and maintained to the agents.
