Abstract: A method for establishes a communication connection between at least one health care professional (HCP) remote device (CP, 3) and at least one medical device (7). The method includes: establishing a first communication connection between the CP with a remote monitoring server (RMS, 1), establishing a second communication connection between the RMS and a patient remote device (PR, 5), and establishing a third communication connection between the PR and the medical device. The CP is configured to optimize an internal device process such that the first communication connection can be maintained as continuous communication connection. The PR is configured to optimize an internal device process such that the second and/or third communication connection can be maintained as continuous communication connection. A remote programming session and/or interrogation session of the medical device is initiated if the communication connection between the CP and the medical device is successfully established.

Abstract: A tracking system passively tracks and records searches conducted by actual search engine users. The recorded data for each search event preferably includes the search query submitted, the search engine used, the search result item (e.g., web page) selected, the position (e.g., page number) of this item, and the user's IP address. The collected data is aggregated and analyzed to generate data regarding the search queries used to locate and access particular destinations (e.g., web pages and sites). This data may be used for various purposes, such as (1) to generate reports showing, e.g., how users reach a particular destination from different search engines and geographic locations, (2) to select content to display on a destination page, such that the content is relevant to search queries commonly used to locate that page, and (3) to update the database of one search engine to reflect searches conducted on other search engines.

Abstract: A method including transmitting, by a first meshnet device to a third-party application installed on the first meshnet device, an association between a second meshnet device and a unique identifier of the second meshnet device; receiving, by the first meshnet device from the third-party application, a query for a meshnet IP address assigned to the second meshnet device; transmitting, by the first meshnet device to the third-party application based on receiving the query, the meshnet IP address assigned to the second meshnet device; receiving, by the first meshnet device from the third-party application based on transmitting the meshnet IP address, a communication packet to be transmitted to the second meshnet device, the communication packet indicating the meshnet IP address as a destination address; and transmitting, by the first meshnet device, the communication packet to the second meshnet device is disclosed. Abstract: The object of the present invention is to suitably control a charging state of a human body all the time. A charging amount detection device 13 is worn by a human body and measures the surface potential of the human body. A static electricity control device 12 is worn by a human body and generates and discharges ions to the human body and thereby controls the static electricity on the human body. A mobile terminal 11 sets a control pattern of the static electricity on the human body that is suitable for a condition such as temperature and humidity for the static electricity control device 12 via short-range wireless communication. The static electricity control device 12 uses the set control pattern to perform feedback control of the static electricity on the human body by using the surface potential of the human body measured by the charging amount detection device 13.

Abstract: Techniques and solutions are described that can be used to determine data subsets of a data set that may be responsive to a query. In one aspect, imprints are created for the data subsets, where an imprint indicates whether, for a plurality of bins, a data subset contains values within respective bins. The bins are defined at least in part using data for a set of queries. In another aspect, at least one bin of a plurality of bins is designated to be associated with values of the data set satisfying a threshold frequency. In a further aspect, imprints are created for a plurality of bins, where an imprint indicates whether the plurality of data subsets comprise a value for a given bin. A query imprint can be compared with the data subset imprints or bin imprints to determine data subsets that may be responsive to an associated query.

Abstract: A system and computer implemented method of patent mapping are provided. The method comprises maintaining a database of patent portfolios and a database of patents, each patent stored in the database of patents associated. with one or more patent portfolios stored in the database of patent portfolios; maintaining a database of ontologies, the ontologies including one or more patent concepts in defined groups; receiving a search query associated with a first patent portfolio; searching the first portfolio as a function of the search query; generating search results, the search results including one or more patent claims associated with the search query; and mapping the one or more patent claims to a patent concept in a defined group.

Abstract: An automated safety system for delivery associates is provided. The safety system determines safety hazards within a geographical region. Each safety hazard has an associated likelihood of causing a safety incident. The safety system retrieves delivery routes, where each delivery route indicates a travel path to one or more destination locations within the geographical region. The safety system generates safety notifications, based at least in part on the safety hazards within the geographical region and the delivery routes. The safety system transmits the safety notifications.

Abstract: A method for monitoring and management of a cloud-based computing system is provided. The method includes sending a first data stream to a first pod of a first worker node of a cloud-based computing system. First logs are received from the first pod of the first worker node, which are generated by the first pod while processing the first data stream. A first age of the first pod is determined. In response to the first age being less than a first age threshold, a first failure chance and a first failure timeline are determined for the first pod based on the first logs. In response to the first failure chance being greater than a first failure threshold, a first report is sent to a primary node of the cloud-based computing system, which includes the first failure chance, the first failure timeline, and a first template for the first pod.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described herein for an automated product management (APM) service. An apparatus may receive from a second apparatus, at least one first request to enroll a third apparatus with a service layer associated with the second apparatus. The apparatus may send a second request to verify authenticity of the third apparatus and to generate a customized firmware or software for the third apparatus. The apparatus may send a third request to configure the third apparatus based on consent of a user of the third apparatus. The apparatus may send a response indicating whether the third apparatus has been enrolled with the service layer. The apparatus may receive a fourth request to diagnose or troubleshoot the third apparatus and a fifth request comprising information and the consent and requesting the fourth apparatus to perform at least one operation on the third apparatus.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to continuous data profiling (CDP). Entities may house large amounts of disorganized and/or duplicative data. To organize and standardize data across a data set, the data may be profiled. However, profiling large data set can be inefficient and give rise to security problems, as profiling datasets typically requires exporting a dataset to a third-party profiling runtime environment. To remedy these issues, the present disclosure is directed to a continuous data profiling platform that comprises a CDP manager communicatively coupled to a client's database. The CDP manager provides access to a CDP API that may install CDP tools on a client's native database environment, enabling the database management system to profile datasets within the client's native database environment, which results in a more efficient use of computing resources and more secure process of profiling datasets.

Abstract: Systems, device and techniques are disclosed for receiving a request from a user to add a media item to a playlist at a certain playlist position where the media items in the playlist are provided to other users in a media group. Based on a determination that the requesting user has rights to the requested media item, the requested media item may be added to the playlist at the position. When the playlist reaches the position, the user that added the media item to the playlist may be provided with a first version of the media item and the other users in the group may be provided with a second version of the media item. If the user that requested the item to be added to the playlist is determined not to have rights to the media item, the item is added to a position different than the requested position.

Abstract: Systems and methods for adaptive and transparent entity screening are provided. In an aspect, a first entity list comprising a plurality of first entity records is accessed. The first entity records comprise a plurality of first entity identifying attributes. A second entity list comprising a plurality of second entity records is also accessed, wherein the second entity records comprise a plurality of second entity identifying attributes. In certain aspects, an entity screening model pairs the first entity identifying attributes of the first entity record with the second entity identifying attributes of the second entity record, executes different matching algorithms on pairs of entity identifying attributes, and determines an overall likelihood that the pair of entity records are a match based on aggregation of match scores from the plurality of matching algorithms.

Abstract: Various embodiments for providing a data transfer and management system are described herein. An embodiment operates by determining that data of a column is stored in a column loadable format in which all of the data of the column is moved from the disk storage location to a memory responsive to a data request. A data vector that identifies a plurality of value IDs corresponding to at least a subset of the plurality of rows of the column, is identified. A page format that provides that a portion of the data of the column across a subset of the plurality of rows is moved from the second disk storage location into the memory responsive to the data request is determined. The entries of the data vector are requested, converted from column loadable format into the page persistent format, and stored across one or more memory pages.

Abstract: A batch of CRUD operations can be coupled with the resource discovery operation and directly conducted on the matched resources, without initiating new CRUD requests. New functionality at the Originator and Receiver can differentiate the resources for which criteria matching is applied from the resources included in the discovery/filtering results. Enhanced functionality at the Originator and Receiver can combine discovery with RESTful operations targeting a resource set different than but related the discovered resources. Other enhancements may be used to request discovery of resources in a specified relationship to those matching a filter, or to request group formation based on the result.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium for consolidating multiple databases into a single or a smaller number of databases is described. An improved structure of target database may be achieved by removing constraints used when creating legacy databases. According to some aspects, these and other benefits may be achieved by combining multiple source tables into a single target table with errors being identified and addressed during the creation of the instructions to generate the target table. In implementation, this may be effected by converting values from a source table and values from a target table into normalized versions of those values and then comparing the normalized values. A benefit includes verifying that the data from the source table is being properly reflected in the target table.
