The link aggregation transmitter dynamically splits the bearer traffic across the WWAN link and the WLAN link based at least in part on the WLAN transmission confirmation signal, the WLAN congestion status, and the WWAN congestion status.

    Abstract: Techniques are described for multicast flow prioritization in protocol independent multicast (PIM) networks with multicast flow limits. According to the disclosed techniques, once a router has reached its multicast flow limit, the router may preempt an installed lower priority multicast flow with a newly requested higher priority multicast flow. For example, if a maximum number of multicast flows are installed on the router, then, upon receiving a PIM join for a higher priority flow as compared to the installed flows, the router replaces one of the installed lower priority flows with the received higher priority flow. Furthermore, according to the disclosed techniques, priority values for multicast flows are consistent across a PIM domain and each of the routers within the PIM domain is configured to use the priority values to select a higher priority flow over a lower priority flow.

The determined number of UL or DL resources may be compared to a corresponding threshold which his based on the UE capabilities and processed in accordance a result of the comparison. Communication in 2×50G mode can be supported by a four-channel Y-cable, in which the four channels are utilized by the network switch port and fan-out to two channels to each of the two external ports.

The reception strength of the BF-T frame may be determined at each station for each frequency unit.

The traffic manager may be configured to select a read instruction for a given buffer bank from the read instruction queues based on a scoring mechanism or other selection logic. To avoid sending too much data to an egress block during a given time slot, once a data unit portion has been read from the buffer, it may be temporarily stored in a shallow read data cache. Alternatively, a single, non-bank specific controller may determine all of the read instructions and write operations that should be executed in a given time slot. The read instruction queue architecture may be duplicated for link memories and other memories in addition to the buffer memory.
