Abstract: Automated content switching rules may be generated and/or utilized for automatically switching away from certain interactive content during presentation of that interactive content when one or more switch conditions are met. In some instances, automated content switching rules may define one or more non-temporal switch conditions, e.g., based upon reaching certain points or milestones in certain interactive content, that may be used to initiate actions that switch away from the interactive content. In addition, in some instances, automated content switching rules may be used to not only switch away from particular interactive content, but additionally switch to other interactive content, thereby enabling a user to effectively schedule a workflow across different interactive content, applications and/or other computer-related tasks.

Abstract: Extracorporeal blood treatment systems and methods to display graphical user interfaces displaying a plurality of fluids areas, each including a flow rate, and displaying adjustment notifications proximate one or more fluid areas. For example, when a user adjusts a flow rate to a limit, one or more notifications may be displayed proximate other flow rates that may be adjusted to modify the limit.

Abstract: A method may include retrieving, from a data store, an environment template data file; parsing the environment template data file to identify: path data; an amount of events; and display location information with respect to each event in the amount of events; accessing a user profile identifying scheduled events for a user; for a first event in the scheduled events for the user, predicting using at least one processor, a set of decisions associated with the first event, and a set of impact determinations for each respective decision in the set of decisions; generating, using the processing device, a user interface based on the path data, the amount of events, the display location information, the set of decisions associated with the first event, and the set of impact determinations for each respective decision in the set of decisions; and presenting the user interface on a computing device of the user.

Abstract: A user interface for a health management platform is described that includes a virtual sidekick configured to assist a patient in managing a chronic health condition. The virtual sidekick may represent an individual (not necessarily the patient) that is facing similar challenges as the patient such as the same chronic health condition as the patient. In some embodiments, the virtual sidekick can be presented in a virtual scene that includes one or more reverse augmented realty elements that are indicative of a physical context of the patient. For example, the virtual scene may depict visual elements indicative of the patient's physical location and/or weather conditions at the patient's physical location. Data used to personalize and dynamically animate the virtual sidekick to assist the patient in managing a chronic health condition can come from multiple different sources.

Abstract: An electronic device displays a chart, which includes a first set of visual marks that represent values derived from a set of data. The device concurrently displays a chart-calculations-options area. The chart-calculations-options area displays a first plurality of options for type of calculation. The device detects user selection of (i) a first option, from the first plurality of options, for type of calculation and (ii) a second option corresponding to a parameter for the selected first option. In response to detecting the user selection, the device visually distinguishes visual marks in a second set of visual marks in the chart. The second set of visual marks is distinct from the first set of visual marks and corresponds to the first option for type of calculation and the second option corresponding to the parameter for the selected first option.

The method includes displaying an execution screen of a first application on a first area when the first application is executed, displaying the execution screen of the first application on a second area instead of on the first area when a second application is executed while the first application is executed, and displaying an execution screen of a second application on the first area.

Abstract: A uniform resource locator (URL) shortener relies on client-side support to embed links to websites into, for example, text messages, emails, tweets, or other forms of microblogging, and that provides additional capabilities. A method may include: recognizing a token indicator; recognizing a token in conjunction with the token indicator; selecting a template corresponding to the token indicator; and executing a process enabled according to the token and the template. Executing an enabled process may include one or more of: generating a URL; generating a URL that is itself a server-based URL shortener, in which the token indicator is substituted for the server-based URL shortener hostname to reduce the character count from that of the server-based URL shortener; displaying information from a destination website of the URL generated from the token and the template; or generating a URL according to a distinctive visual characteristic of the token indicator.

Abstract: The proper visualization of a business process plays a key role in analyzing, changing, simulating and monitoring the business process. Most BPMS systems today, provide a modeling environment where the business user can define and visualize business processes as BPMN diagrams. Some more advanced systems (such as Savvion Business Manager) enable monitoring of the business process at run-time via a color-coded view of the process diagram. While process diagram is an important view of the process, it lacks the level of abstraction needed to provide information in an optimal way to the business users. The proposed visualization, called the 360 degree view provides an optimal view of a business process without losing important details about the process.

Abstract: A display apparatus includes circuitry to receive a handwriting input within a frame of a line displayed on a display. The handwriting input is corresponding to a part of a character string including one or more characters. The circuitry obtains, based on the handwriting input, a character size. The circuitry expands the frame in a direction of the handwriting input, based on the character size and space currently being left between the handwriting input and a side of the frame in the direction of the handwriting input to receive another handwriting input.

Abstract: This disclosure can provide a display device, including a controller configured for determining whether an application interface of a current application supports a screen orientation after rotation; if so, outputting a rotation command so that a rotating component can drive the screen to rotate based on the rotation command; and if not, controlling the screen to display a prompt message, so that a user can determine whether to continue to control the screen to rotate via the prompt message if needed.

Abstract: Implementations described herein relate to methods, devices, and computer-readable media to display a user interface that includes a map portion and a grid portion. A method includes identifying a first set of images that match a first region of a digital map and causing a user interface to be displayed that includes a map portion that corresponds to the first region of the digital map and a grid portion that includes images of the first set. The method further includes receiving user input indicative of a second region of the digital map. The method further includes identifying a second set of images that match the second region of the digital map and updating the user interface such that the map portion of the updated user interface corresponds to the second region of the digital map and the grid portion of the updated user interface includes images of the second set.

Abstract: A method of displaying content items, for example message items in a messaging application or service, is disclosed. The method comprises receiving encrypted content items in a chronological sequence; decrypting the content items; causing display of a display sequence, in order of the chronological sequence, of a respective place holder in place of each of the decrypted content items, and, in response to a user input, causing display of the respective content item in place of one or more of the place holders. Each place holder has an appearance of a scrambled version of the respective content item. The display sequence may be contiguous in received items or sent content items may be interleaved with received content items in the display sequence, in which case sent content items may be displayed with place holders in the same way as received items. A corresponding system and corresponding computer readable medium or media are also disclosed.

An embodiment operates by detecting a user modification of a particular value of a sorted plurality of values of a column displayed in a visual interface including a sorting visual indicator indicating that the plurality of values are sorted. It is determined that the values are no longer sorted after the user modification. The sorting visual indicator is replaced with a refresh visual indicator based on the determination that the plurality of values are no longer sorted. The values including the user modification are re-sorted based on a selection of the refresh visual indicator. The re-sorted plurality of values including the user modification of the particular value are provided for display in the visual interface.
