Abstract: A display apparatus that includes circuitry that displays a user interface screen including device information that identifies a plurality of output device groups and a plurality of input device groups to control connection between one of the output device groups and one of the input device groups; and receives an input that designates a combination of said one of the output device groups and said one of the input device groups, the user interface screen includes a matrix comprising a plurality of cells in a row direction and a column direction, the input designates the combination by designating one of grouped cells corresponding to the combination of said one of the output device groups and said one of the input device groups in the matrix, and the grouped cells are grouped such that the input designates the combination as a group.

Abstract: A system for data sharing between a first user and a second user includes a memory and a processor. The processor is configured to execute instructions stored in the memory to associate a unique identifier with a first profile of the first user, the first profile includes user data; obtain, from a second device of the second user, a sensed identifier; and, in response to the sensed identifier matching the unique identifier of the first user, execute instruction to send, to the first user, a first request to share first user data of the first user with the second user; and receive, from the first user, a response to the first request to share the first user data of the first user with the second user. The sensed identifier is captured by a sensor of the second device.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments relate to techniques for representing conversations in a messaging system, where content serves as the organizing feature or primitive of a messaging inbox. In the messaging inbox, a first level of organization allows for the selection of a user account associated with shared content. Upon selecting the user account, the account's content (e.g., photographs, videos, etc.) appear as a second level of organization. Thus, content may be aggregated in two hierarchical tiers: first, on a per-sender basis, and second on a per-content basis. In some embodiments, messages generated in response to the content may be displayed on the content. The content may be made progressively darker as more replies are received. Messages can be made temporary using a number of different ephemerality models. Messages may also be made permanent, with previously shared content shown in respective inbox drawers.

Abstract: The proper visualization of a business process plays a key role in analyzing, changing, simulating and monitoring the business process. Most BPMS systems today, provide a modeling environment where the business user can define and visualize business processes as BPMN diagrams. Some more advanced systems (such as Savvion Business Manager) enable monitoring of the business process at run-time via a color-coded view of the process diagram. While process diagram is an important view of the process, it lacks the level of abstraction needed to provide information in an optimal way to the business users. The proposed visualization, called the 360 degree view provides an optimal view of a business process without losing important details about the process.

Abstract: Training and/or utilizing an interaction prediction model to generate a predicted interaction value that indicates a likelihood of interaction with a corresponding application on the basis of an electronic communication. The application can be in addition to any electronic communication application that is utilized in formulating the electronic communication and/or that is utilized in rendering the electronic communication. The predicted interaction value can be generated based on processing, utilizing the interaction prediction model, of features of the electronic communication and/or of other features. The predicted interaction value can be utilized to determine whether to perform further action(s) that interact with, and/or enable efficient interaction with, the application on the basis of the electronic communication.

Abstract: Disclosed are various approaches for connecting third-party services for user interaction. A user can select content on a user interface associated with a first third-party service. The content can be associated with a second third-party service. A client application can transmit the content to an integrated service over a network in a request to obtain additional information from the second third-party service. The integrated service can transmit the additional information to the client application. The user interface can be modified to include a user interface element containing the information associated with the second third-party service.

Abstract: An icon display control apparatus that prevents messy display of icons. A predetermined extension application equipped with a function for receiving an instruction for executing processing via an operation on an icon associated with the processing is installed in the icon display control apparatus. A display control unit performs control of display of the icon on a console section. The display control unit controls whether or not to display the icon associated with the processing on the console section, based on whether or not a predetermined condition set for processing of the predetermined extension application is satisfied.

Abstract: User's connection operation is facilitated using a user interface screen. A user interface screen is displayed on which a combination of an arbitrary source apparatus and a destination apparatus is designated from a predetermined number of source apparatuses and destination apparatuses, to operate a connection. Based on operation on the user interface screen, the connection between the source apparatus and the destination apparatus is controlled. On the user interface screen, a button is disposed in which a combination of a source apparatus and a destination apparatus is registered. When the button is operated, control is executed such that the source apparatus and the destination apparatus of the registered combination are connected.

Abstract: An example implementation may involve a media playback system detecting two or more playback devices of a given type. The implementation may further involve transmitting, to a particular playback device of the detected playback devices, an instruction that causes the particular playback device to emit a given sound. The implementation may also involve receiving an identification of the particular playback device and displaying, via a graphical interface, one or more prompts to join the particular playback device into the media playback system.

Abstract: The invention provides for a system and method for activity-entry reporting and activity-entry report generation by utilizing a drag and drop mechanism that allows users to merge submitted activities in order to generate new activities. These activities are contained within activity reports that can be modified and merged by other users in an effort to develop combined activity reports that maintain the traceability of the merged activities.

Abstract: Methods and electronic devices are provided for processing an input. A first object is displayed on a display of the electronic device. A first input related to the first object is received from a user of the electronic device. The first object is moved according to the first input. A speed at which the first object is moving is determined. The speed is compared with a preset threshold. An instruction corresponding to the first input is determined based on a comparison of the speed with the preset threshold. The instruction is executed.

Abstract: Various embodiments provide a commenting system for multiple users to provide and share comments to shared documents. For example, users can share a web link to a collection of content items, such as documents, spreadsheets, photos, and any other media, with other users stored in an online content management system. The commenting system can provide a comment interface displayable alongside a respective content item and the comments can be saved for each user and the content item with associated comments can be synced across the multiple users. The comments can scroll independently of the content in a content item or the comments can be linked to a location therein and the scrolling of the comments can be linked to the scrolling of the content item such that corresponding comments are displayed.

Abstract: This application discloses a method, a computing device, and a system for exchanging information in an application service. This application can support a user in performing a first operation on a map object in a service scenario, and displaying a corresponding signal list based on the first operation. Several pieces of prompt information are preset in the signal list. The user may select target prompt information from the signal list. A target client obtains an identifier corresponding to the target prompt information, and generates a first synchronization instruction corresponding to the target prompt information, to instruct each client needing to perform exchange to display the target prompt information on the map object. In addition, the target prompt information is a signal agreed between the clients through communication in advance.

Abstract: A user interface for an online social-interaction system that allows members of the online social-interaction system to add actions to private action lists. Each member can make a post for one or more other members to see, with the post including an add-to-action-list selector. Each member receiving the post can elect to add an action relating to the post to their private action list by selecting the add-to-action-list selector. A member creating a post and desiring to solicit one or more other members to take an action on their behalf can create the post, including selecting a request action selector so that the post includes an add-to-action-list selector. A member creating a post and desiring that one or more volunteers take an action on their behalf can select a send-to-volunteer selector.

Abstract: A method for operating a vehicle information system having at least a first display area and a second display area. An activation signal and a transition signal are received in succession. Graphical data for an activation animation containing a first view and a second view is generated based on the activation signal and the transition signal, and displayed by the first display area and second display area. After the activation signal is received, an appearing of the first view is output, wherein the first view has a first graphical object. After the transition signal is received, a disappearing of the first view and an appearing of the second view are output, wherein the appearing of the second view has a movement effect which depicts a movement from the first display area to the second display area. Also disclosed is a vehicle information system.

Abstract: A method for user-based application grouping in a table-top multi-user environment where a plurality of users execute applications individually comprises collecting geometric information of each window of a plurality of applications displayed on a table-top display—each window of the plurality of applications has different geometric information according to the position at which each user uses the table-top display; and processing geometric information of each window of the plurality of applications through a clustering algorithm processing unit by using the collected geometric information as a criterion for classifying the plurality of applications and grouping the processed geometric information for each user. Through grouping of applications currently executed in a table-top environment for each user, a user-specific special function such as a user-specific application history may be provided.

Abstract: Reduced-size user interfaces for providing weather information are disclosed. At an electronic device with a touch-sensitive display, indications of a location and a temperature at the location may be displayed. In some examples, a user may provide input through a touch on the touch-sensitive display and/or through a rotation of a rotatable input mechanism to display additional weather information, such as weather information for another location, another temperature, another time, and so forth. In some examples, the device may obtain data representing an upcoming activity, determine whether the activity is to begin within a threshold amount of time, and display weather information based on the upcoming activity. In some examples, the device may display an affordance at a position to indicate the time of day for which a weather condition is provided.

Abstract: Methods and systems may provide for detecting a manual addition of first content to an interactive display and defining a content boundary around the first content. Additionally, a first automatic rescaling of the first content within the content boundary may be conducted in response to one or more of a manual modification of the first content or a trigger related to a characteristic of the first content. In one example, a manual reposition request is detected with respect to the first content, the first content is moved to a new position on the interactive display based on the reposition request, and a second automatic rescaling of the first content is conducted based on a state of second content that is adjacent to the new position.

Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods for analyzing and visualizing data are described. Data from third party data sources can be collected, parsed, and analyzed to generate graphical elements that can help visualize the analyzed data. These graphical elements can be displayed on remote user computing devices to enable users of the system to visualize the analyzed data.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices can allow applications to provide complication data to be displayed in a complication of a watch face. A client application can create a complication data object according to a template to efficiently select how the complication data is to be displayed. For example, a complication controller on the watch can receive new data and determine which template to use. The complication data object can be sent to a display manager that can identify the selected template and display the data according to the template.
