  • Patent number: 7083397
Abstract: Several transmission embodiments selectively communicate rotary drive to an orbiting scroll to achieve capacity modulation. In these embodiments, when the motor is driven in a first direction, the orbiting scroll is driven at a rate which is equal to the motor speed. However, if the motor is driven in a reverse direction, the orbit rate of the orbiting scroll is reduced. The transmission ensures that the orbiting scroll member itself is driven in the proper forward direction regardless of whether the motor is being driven in forward or reverse.

  • Patent number: 6779981
Abstract: A fan control system. The fan motor is operated normally at not greater than a preset maximum rotation speed. The fan control system has a programmable microcontroller to receive an input voltage and a rotation speed signal corresponding to the actual rotation speed of the fan motor, determining an output signal according to the input voltage and the rotation speed signal, and outputting the output signal; and a fan-driving unit to receive the output signal and adjusting the rotation speed for driving the fan motor according to the output signal. When the rotation speed is lower than a predetermined rotation speed, the rotation speed is in a relation of a first function to the input voltage; when the rotation speed is greater than the predetermined rotation speed, the rotation speed is in a relation of a second function to the input voltage.

  • Patent number: 6767189
Abstract: A method for the control and regulation of the oil pressure-gas pressure relationship of diaphragm compressors. The function of a diaphragm compressor is mainly dependent on a given minimum relationship of gas pressure and oil pressure. When this is undershot a large direct damage or long term damage can result. Also there exists operating conditions with very different gas pressures for which the maintenance of a given predetermined relationship between gas pressure and oil pressure is of large advantage. The solution of the invention lies in the capture of the oil pressure-gas pressure relationship with an electronic pressure sensor on the oil side of the diaphragm head and another electronic pressure sensor on the gas outlet side of the diaphragm head, with an associated electronic evaluation circuit for both of the signals for determining from those signals the relationship of the two pressures as well as for producing a signal output upon the undershooting of a given minimum relationship.

  • Patent number: 6758657
Abstract: A pump (10) has a housing which forms a pump chamber (17) having a wall (18). Inlet and outlet valve assemblies (19, 20) communicate with the chamber (17) and, respectively, allow fluid to be received in, and discharged from, the chamber (17). An armature (27) carries a plunger (28) and is reciprocatably moved by an electromagnetic coil assembly (25). A coil spring (44) biases the plunger (28) toward a stop surface (41) positioned adjacent to the plunger (28). Upon activation of the coil assembly (25), the plunger. (28) is moved against the force of the spring (44) such that a diaphragm (31) carried by the plunger (28) moves into the chamber (17) without engaging the wall (18) to discharge fluid through the outlet valve assembly (20). When the coil assembly (25) is deactivated, the spring (44) moves the plunger (28) toward the stop surface (41) without allowing it to engage the stop surface (41) to draw fluid in through the inlet valve assembly (19).

  • Patent number: 6752064
Abstract: A radial, fluid pressure actuated motor having sets of opposed axially aligned cylinders arranged in a spaced relation about a crankshaft, each set of cylinders having a common push rod extending between them. Each push rod has a central Scotch yoke with an elongated slot, the yokes being arranged in overlying spaced relation, the slots being arranged in right angular intersecting relation. A primary or main crankpin extending from the crankshaft extends in journaled but slidable relation through the slots of the Scotch yokes. Fluid pressure is fed into, and exhausted from, each of the cylinders in a predetermined cyclic order, the fluid pressure operating to power, in both directions of travel, axial movement of the push rods thereby imparting continuous rotating motion to the crankshaft via the main crankpin.

  • Patent number: 6736603
Abstract: An oil suction pump includes a push switch, a shaft vertically located below the push switch, and a float arm horizontally located below the shaft. A hooked lower end of the shaft is adapted to detachably engage with a hooked first end of the float arm and thereby holds the shaft in a fixed position when the push switch is depressed. A second end of the float arm is pivotally connected to a float that ascends when the oil sucked into a container connected to the oil suction pump reaches a predetermined level and thereby causes the first end to descend and disengage from the hooked lower end of the shaft, allowing the latter to move upward into an original position and automatically close an air inlet valve of the oil suction pump.
