  • Patent number: 11113695
Abstract: The method comprises receiving a token request, from a first transaction system, for generating a token associated with a user account. Responsive to receiving the token request, generating the token that authorizes use of an initial transaction resource at a second transaction system. The method includes generating transaction preferences that associate the token with a plurality of transaction resources at the second transaction system. The token is transmitted to the first transaction system for use at the first transaction system. The method includes receiving a transaction request, including the token, for using the token for a first transaction. In response to receiving the transaction request, the transaction is processed based on the token, a state of the first user account, and the transaction preferences. • Patent number: 11087310
Abstract: A method and server system for facilitating recurring customer payments to merchants are provided. A Quick Response (QR) code including a Standing Instruction (SI) flag is generated. The SI flag is capable of offering customers of a merchant with an option to pay for respective recurring payments using SI. The generated QR code is provided by the merchant to at least one customer. A first payment from among a set of recurring payments from a customer to the merchant is processed based on an input related to the SI provided by the customer subsequent to a selection of the option in the QR code by the customer. A unique identifier associated with a processing of the first payment from the customer to the merchant is generated and stored. Each subsequent payment is processed using the unique identifier and the input related to the SI.

  • Patent number: 11068991
Abstract: According to some embodiments, a risk monitoring data store may contain a set of electronic data records, with each electronic data record being associated with a stream of sensor data received via a communication network from a remote set of sensor systems located at a risk monitoring site. A risk analytics platform computer may receive information associated with the sensor data in substantially real-time and analyze the received sensor data, using at least one risk analytics algorithm, to detect an abnormal pattern associated with a predicted elevated level of risk at the risk monitoring site. The risk analytics platform computer may also automatically transmit a result of the analysis to a risk operations platform. The risk operations platform may then implement an active risk mitigation adjustment at the risk monitoring site responsive to the result of the analysis.

  • Patent number: 11042852
Abstract: Techniques are described for sender authenticated remittance via an automatic teller machine (ATM). The techniques include transferring money between a sender and a recipient via the ATM without the recipient needing a computing device or a bank account with which to receive the money. The disclosed techniques enable a remittance server to interact with both the sender via a sender computing device and the recipient via the ATM to perform a money transfer in which the recipient is at least partially authenticated by the sender. The ATM is configured to take a picture or a video of the recipient to be sent by the remittance server to the sender computing device for approval by the sender prior to allocating the transferred money to the recipient. In this way, the remittance server essentially passes control of the ATM and the remittance of the transferred money to the sender.

  • Patent number: 11030622
Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying potentially illicit purchases, especially in card-not-present transactions. In one implementation, a merchant transaction system comprises a processor and memory. The system receives a transaction request from a customer for a card-not-present sale transaction. The system transmits over an electronic network a transaction risk request message to a transaction risk evaluator, and receives over the electronic network a reply message from the transaction risk evaluator, indicating a level of risk associated with the sale transaction. The system can decide whether to proceed with the card-not-present sale transaction based at least in part on the content of the reply message.

  • Patent number: 10997664
Abstract: A system may include one or more sensors that acquire location information associated with the one or more sensors. The system may also include a processor that receives a first set of data comprising environmental information associated with a location, receives the location information from the one or more sensors, and determines whether a risk of damage to property associated with at least one of the one or more sensors is greater then a threshold based on the location information and the environmental information. When the risk is greater than the threshold, the processor may send a notification including the risk of damage to the property to a computing device that may provide an audio or visual indication of the notification.

  • Patent number: 10977634
Abstract: Systems and methods associated with media hub devices are provided that passively monitor user devices and transmit targeted media through in-channel transmissions that use the same channel used to monitor the user devices, or shifted channel transmissions that are different than the channel used to monitor the user devices. For example, a media hub device may passively monitor customer devices by scanning a wireless communication channel and obtaining device identification information transmitted by a user device that communicates the device identification information via the wireless communication channel. A media hub device may link the user device with a particular user or may anonymously monitor user behavior, through the monitored user device, without explicit knowledge of the identity of the user. Targeted media may be provided to the user device either in-channel using the same channel used to passively monitor the user device or a shifted channel using a different channel.

  • Patent number: 10937103
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to using machine learning algorithms to analyze vehicle operational data associated with a vehicle accident. In some instances, an accident assessment server may receive data indicating that a vehicle was involved in an accident. The accident assessment server may compare the data with other known data, based on machine learning algorithms, to identify whether the accident resulted in a total loss. Responsive to determining that the accident resulted in the total loss, the accident assessment server may request further information regarding the vehicle and may identify a baseline value range for the vehicle. The accident assessment server may request updated information from the owner of the vehicle, identify, based on the updated information, a final value of the vehicle, and may pay the owner of the vehicle an amount corresponding to the final value if the final value is within the baseline value range.

  • Patent number: 10853882
Abstract: A method and system may analyze the liability of drivers involved in a vehicle crash based on video image data of the vehicle crash. When a vehicle crash occurs, several image capturing devices may transmit sets of video images captured within a predetermined threshold distance and time of the scene of the vehicle crash. The sets of video images may be combined, aggregated, and/or assembled chronologically and spatially to form a compilation which may depict the sequence of events leading up to, during, and immediately after the vehicle crash. Based on the compilation, percentages of fault may be allocated to each of the drivers involved in the vehicle crash and the amount of liability may be assessed for each of the drivers.
