Abstract: Systems and methods to improve an e-commerce platform through modifications to the checkout and fulfillment process aimed at reducing the incidence of returns. Modifications may include determining a likelihood of a return and, based on the likelihood of return, generating a staged fulfillment process in which an order is split in two linked orders that are processed serially and based on receipt of confirmation to proceed after delivery of a first one of the orders. Modifications may include determining during the checkout process that a custom return policy is to be used and generating the custom return policy based, at least in part, on one or more of a purchaser return history, the product item or items in the order, and product return history.

Abstract: A fraud detection system for detecting fraudulent acts related to payment discounts from digital transactional data is disclosed. In some embodiments, the fraud detection system is programmed or configured with data structures and/or database records that are arranged to detect an occurrence of a triggering event, such as receiving an early payment discount by a buyer account from a supplier account. The fraud detection system is programmed to analyze how a first amount charged for certain items by the supplier account to the buyer account before the triggering event has changed to a second amount after the triggering event from digital documents related to procurement transactions. The certain items may include items for sale or for other miscellaneous items. The digital documents may include catalogs, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, or invoices. The fraud detection system is programmed to further detect any potential fraud committed by the supplier account based on the analysis result.

Abstract: A pre-processing and fulfillment system and method are described. In some implementations, the method may include receiving an order containing a retail component and a pharmacy component, processing the order for the pharmacy component and the retail component, and generating a tracking token identifying the order and authorizing a party to receive a component of the order. The method may include transmitting fulfillment instructions to a fulfillment system based on processed information for the order, and transmitting the tracking token to a computing device of the authorized party. Some implementations may also include receiving a signal indicating receipt of the tracking token and an authorized transfer of the component, and updating a status of the order based on the received signal.

A plurality of clusters of replacement parts are generated based on the plurality of maintenance events. A plurality of bundles of replacement parts are predicted based on the clusters. Each bundle includes a plurality of replacement parts.

Abstract: A vehicle transaction support system operates by: generating, based on customer prequalification data and extended bureau data and utilizing a customer grading engine having a first artificial intelligence model trained via machine learning, a customer grade that predicts a likelihood of transaction default associated with a customer; generating, based on customer profile data that includes the customer grade and other customer profile data and utilizing a vehicle recommendation engine having a second artificial intelligence model trained via machine learning, vehicle options data that indicates vehicles selected from a vehicle database; and generating, based on at least a portion of the customer profile data and the vehicle options data and utilizing a transaction recommendation engine having a third artificial intelligence model trained via machine learning, terms data associated with each of the vehicles selected from the vehicle database.

Abstract: An automatic supplier recommendation engine for suggesting a product supplier from outside of an existing merchant network is disclosed. A set of optimization solutions may include pricing, performance, shipping, duties, trust score and other inventory or manufacturing factors. The set of optimization solutions are run on a processor to determine optimal fulfillment for products in an e-commerce platform. A set of heuristics may include geographic location, quality, sizing of purchases, similarity of supplier offerings, supplier positioning and other attributes may be created for merchants and suppliers. The set of optimization solutions are run, and the set of heuristics for each merchant and for each supplier are compared, to determine whether a match exists. A prospective merchant-supplier relationship may be communicated and established via an e-commerce platform.

One of the SOA front-end components is configured to communicate with a home automation system of a first user and one of the SOA front-end components is configured to communicate with a graphical user interface (GUI) associated with the first user. One of the SOA back-end components is configured to communicate with a weather service database and one of the SOA back-end components is configured to communicate with an order fulfillment service. The SOA front-end components are operable to be combined with the SOA back-end components to form an operable SOA solution.

A pro forma contract defined by a variables matrix of variables is created from a received procurement request. The web is scraped to identify potential bidders based on the variables. Suppliers are registered, including obtaining, through an on-line registration process, supplier registration information including commercial license information and bank account information for each supplier. Supplier registration information of the suppliers is authenticated. Bidders for the contract are selected, including creating a bidder list identifying suppliers who are to be invited to participate in bidding. Solicitations of interest are issued to bidders identified in the bidder list, the solicitations of interest including a statement of work. Bidding parties are evaluated to identify qualified bidders. A winning bidder is selected from the bidding parties. A final contract is created for the winning bidder.

Such adjustments may be in response to user actions and may create a more immersive experience for the user. Such adjustments may be determined from interaction data received from a user device, with may identify a service provider, a product, or an activity that the user is currently engaging in or is interested in. One or more secondary devices may be identified to be within an area around the user device and one or more environmental rules associated with the service provider, product, or activity may be determined and communicated to the one or more secondary devices to cause the one or more secondary devices to adjust a physical environment of the area proximate the user device.
