Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer storage mediums for rendering a geo-referenced interactive tour using media objects associated with a user. An exemplary method includes collecting the media objects from one or more selected user profiles associated with the user. Each media object is collected based on an associated time value. The collected media objects are organized into one or more trip segments based on velocity value associated with each collected media object, the velocity value indicating the velocity of travel between two media objects. At least one trip segment is rendered into the interactive tour. The trip segment is rendered to include its media objects and geo-referenced data. The geo-referenced data is determined from at least one geolocation associated with a media object included in the trip segment. The media objects and geo-referenced data are rendered according to a presentation style that is selected based on the included media objects.

Abstract: A system comprises a processor and a graphical user interface (GUI) executable by the processor. The GUI enables a user to specify constituent virtual connect domains (VCD) for a common VCD group. Each VCD comprises two or more computing devices virtualized by a virtual connect device. The virtual connect device comprises multiple ports for communicatively coupling the two or more computing devices to external networks. For all of the constituent VCDs of a particular VCD group, each corresponding port of a corresponding virtual connect device is connected to the same external.

Abstract: While in a first mode, a first electronic device displays on a touch-sensitive display a first application view that corresponds to a first application. In response to detecting a first input, the electronic device enters a second mode, and concurrently displays in a first predefined area an initial group of application icons with at least a portion of the first application view adjacent to the first predefined area. While in the second mode, in response to detecting a first touch gesture on an application icon that corresponds to a second application, the electronic device displays a popup view corresponding to a full-screen-width view of the second application on a second electronic device. In response to detecting one or more second touch gestures within the popup view, the electronic device performs an action in the second application that updates a state of the second application.

Abstract: A mobile phone messaging system and method for managing display of messages to mobile phone users. A mobile client application operates at user's mobile phone. Mobile content providers manage the display of messages and related interactions throughout a specific period of time (e.g., daily, weekly, bi-weekly). Phone wakeup time data and message identifying data are transmitted from a mobile content provider server to a mobile phone. The wakeup time data and message identifying data are stored in the phone. The wakeup times are also added to a registry at the phone that facilitates launching of applications at the times indicated in the registry. At the specified wakeup times, the mobile client application determines the message identifying data associated with the wakeup time, connects to the mobile content provider server, and provides the message identifying data. The provider responds with a specific message and the mobile client application displays the message.

In one embodiment of the invention, a method for multi-contextual navigation can include rendering objects for an artifact utilizing a default contextual view of the objects, selecting an object in the default contextual view and directing an inward navigation to a different object in the default contextual view. Notably, responsive to the directing of the inward navigation to the different object, a different contextual view can be provided for at least a portion of the objects defined by the different object.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an air fan turbine positioned horizontally or vertically in close proximity to the exhaust fan system of air handler systems. These turbine units catch the exhausted air flow from the exhaust ports of these air handler units to drive the turbine blades which are attached to a generator. As the propellor blades spin, they generate electricity. Thus, the man made air flow known as exhaust from the air handler systems is used to produce electricity. This invention not only uses man made air flow, but also repositions the air turbine 90° from a horizontal position to a vertical position to receive wind air from the atmosphere. When the air handler unit is turned off, a signal is sent to mechanically move the air turbine to the vertical position to redirect itself to then catch natural wind airflow on both roof top and ground mounted units.

Abstract: A system and method for presenting an interface to a user of a mobile device, the interface allowing a user to identify and select data that is to be transmitted to another mobile device. In some embodiments, the interface generated by the system allows the user to select data for transmission based on relationship associations. The relationship associations, for example, may include pre-defined groupings of data that are tailored to a specific relationship between the user and another person. Accordingly, the user may employ the interface to quickly locate data that would be appropriate to transmit given the particular relationship between the user and the person to receive the data. In some embodiments, the interface generated by the system allows the user to select data for transmission based on context associations. Individual context associations may contain a smaller subset of data corresponding to a specific relationship association.

Abstract: Various technologies and techniques are disclosed for providing a table of contents for a document viewer application. A document viewer application is provided that can display a document that has multiple pages of content. Upon receiving a selection from the user to access a table of contents for the document, a table of contents is displayed that contains a representation of at least some of the pages of content in a manner that is overlaid on top of a current position in the document. A navigation feature allows a user to navigate through the table of contents while retaining the current position in the document. A preview size adjustment feature allows the user to adjust a size of the representation of the pages of content for the document.
