Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods for automatically monitoring and managing inventory in real time within a retail environment are presented. To monitor and manage inventory of electronic devices configured to communicate wirelessly, the electronic devices are configured to send device status messages via wireless communication to wireless connection devices, which in turn send inventory messages to a remote inventory server via a communication network. To monitor non-communicating inventory, wireless tags are included within or affixed to inventory packaging to communicate with the electronic devices or wireless connection devices. Based upon such inventory messages, the remote inventory server monitors inventory location and levels at retail locations. Inventory levels may be adjusted according to inventory distribution plans based upon such inventory information.

Abstract: Methods and systems for augmenting smart card functionality using a companion mobile wallet are disclosed. The mobile wallet can establish communication with the companion smart card which can determine that the mobile wallet and the smart card are companions. The mobile wallet can send supplemental data to the companion smart card to augment the functionality of the smart card. The smart card can establish communication between with a POS device and send the supplemental data to the POS device. The mobile wallet, smart card and POS device can communicate with one another in an on-line mode or using batch processing.

Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for communication of orders and payments in a drive through using wireless beacons. A merchant location may include a drive through with a wireless beacon established in the drive through. The beacon may provide communication services with a device for the user. The merchant may detect that the user is in a vehicle in the drive through using either the connection between the device of the user and the beacon or a camera, sensor, or other detector located near the beacon in the drive through. Based on check-in information generated on the connection, an order for the user may be accessed. The user may pay for the order using the device and through the connection to the beacon. Further, if other devices for additional users in the vehicle connect to the beacon, the additional users may split the payment for the order.

Abstract: Provided is a method of managing inventory, the method including receiving location information indicating at least one space location among a plurality of space units and space information corresponding to the location information, calculating a state change amount related to the at least one space location based on at least one of the location information, the space information, and information on a previous space state for each of the plurality of space units, or updating the information on the previous space state for each of the plurality of space units with information on a current space state based on the state change amount. An inventory management apparatus performing the method is provided. A non-transitory computer readable recording medium for performing the method is provided.

Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and computer-readable media related to providing a point of sale platform. In some embodiment, a point of sale (POS) device may receive information associated with an order and payment information associated with the order. The POS device may generate a first object based at least in part on the information associated with the order and a second object based at least in part on the payment information. The POS device may store the first object and the second object in a queue. The POS device may transmit the first object and the second object to a remote server.

Abstract: A computer server for a network-based transaction system is coupled to a kiosk via a data communications network. The kiosk includes a computer processor, an input device, an electronic display unit, a plurality of compartments, and a data communications port. The computer server receives input from a seller of an item. The input includes a listing of the item for sale on the network-based transaction system. The server identifies an available compartment from the plurality of compartments based on the size of the item for sale. The available compartment is configured to receive the item for sale from the seller. The server transmits an identification of the available compartment to the seller via the electronic display unit, and enables access to the available compartment by the seller.

Abstract: An electronic device and method for guiding vehicle users to build a value with vehicle use is provided. The electronic device collects usage data associated with a vehicle and competition information associated with one or more transport options that are different from the vehicle. The electronic device determines saving information associated with a use of the vehicle over a period, based on the usage data and the competition information. The electronic device further determines one or more milestones that are achieved over the period or are yet to be achieved to accumulate a net value which exceeds expenses associated with the vehicle. Such milestones are associated with the use of the vehicle and are determined based on the saving information and the usage data. The electronic device controls a display to render guidance information that includes the net value and information about such milestones.

Abstract: A beverage order fulfillment system allows for beverage fulfillment from a mobile device without requiring a custom software application on the mobile device but uses a web connection to control beverage dispenser operations instead. The mobile device incorporates web browser software, and the web browser software is configured to initiate communication sessions with the at least one server. Data entry options are displayed on the interactive GUI for the first computer to communicate beverage selection commands to the beverage dispensing software, via the at least one server, in a respective instance of beverage fulfillment. The at least one server incorporates web socket application program interfaces (APIs) stored on the at least one server and configured to connect a communications link to the beverage dispenser and the web browser software on the first computer.

Abstract: A method for recipient-initiated shipping includes receiving, at an internet connected server, recipient data (including a first shipping address) from a shipping recipient; providing delivery options to the shipping recipient based on a set of delivery option criteria and the recipient data; receiving a delivery choice from the shipping recipient; and notifying at least one of a shipping sender and a shipping carrier of the delivery choice.

Abstract: Various examples described herein are directed to systems and methods for generating a financial account statement. First financial data associated with a first financial account statement for a customer is received, Second financial data associated with a second financial account statement for the customer is received. The first financial data may be from an earlier financial account statement. Changes between the first financial data and the second financial data are determined. Highlighted changes to augment based on preferences of the customer and the determined changes are determined. Content associated with the highlighted changes is determined. The second financial account statement is created based on the second financial data. The content associated with the highlighted changes is linked in the second financial account statement.

Abstract: Methods and systems for processing an order are disclosed. A unified shopping cart receives a first request from a first tenant interface and second request from a second tenant interface, different from the first tenant interface. Each request includes first request data including a customer identifier, a selection of one or more items, and a desired delivery mode. The first request and the second request are associated with the same customer, and are processed using a unified payment transaction.

Abstract: A point-of-sale terminal includes a storage device in which first form data specifying a first image layout of image elements on a paper slip to be printed by the printer is stored, and a processor. The processor is configured to determine whether or not a promotion is offered, and determine whether or not an electronic receipt is issued. The processor is further configured to control a printer to print an image indicating the promotion on a paper slip with the first image layout, when it is determined that the promotion is offered and the electronic receipt is not issued, and control a communication interface to transmit promotion data of the promotion in a text format, when it is determined that the promotion is offered and the electronic receipt is issued. The promotion data includes a form identifier of the first image layout and does not include the first form data.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods that may advantageously apply machine learning to accurately identify and investigate potential money laundering. In an aspect, the present disclosure provides a computer-implemented method for anti-money laundering (AML) analysis, comprising: (a) obtaining, by the computer, a dataset comprising a plurality of accounts, each of the plurality of accounts corresponding to an account holder among a plurality of account holders, wherein each account of the plurality of accounts comprises a plurality of account variables, wherein the plurality of account variables comprises financial transactions; (b) applying, by the computer, a trained algorithm to the dataset to generate a money laundering risk score for each of the plurality of account holders; and (c) identifying, by the computer, a subset of the plurality of account holders for investigation based at least on the money laundering risk scores of the plurality of account holders.

Abstract: A computer system accesses electronically stored data pertaining to a consumer's current and historical credit reports from a plurality of credit bureaus. Errors in the reports are identified by the computer system, which can then create dispute letters detailing the errors with text customized for each error. The computer processes the data to identify errors within a single report and between multiple reports, both current and historical. The errors can relate to multiple accounts on a given report duplicating the same debt with the same or differing status, and reports from different credit bureaus reporting the same debt with differing status. The status can include the debt being open or closed, and the date a status of the debt changed. The errors are presented on a display with which particular errors can be selected to be included in the report.

Abstract: A perpetual inventory (PI) value associated with the selected product and a last PI adjustment time that indicates when the retail store last adjusted the PI value are received. The PI value of the selected product is compared to the back room quantity value of the selected product, and a time when the back room quantity value becomes greater than the PI value for the selected product is determined. An adjustment to the PI of the selected product is blocked when the PI adjustment time is after the time. When the back room quantity value is greater than the PI value and the adjustment to the PI value is unblocked, the PI value is adjusted to be the back room quantity value.

Abstract: Dunning a debtor according to an essentia instance of the debtor. Debtor data of the debtor is received from a creditor. The debtor is mapped to an essentia to create an essentia instance for the debtor based on debtor characteristic variables identified by the debtor data and essentia characteristic variables identified by essentia data. Essentia specific dunning decisions corresponding to the essentia to apply when dunning the debtor are determined. The debtor is dunned according to the essentia specific dunning decisions.

Abstract: Automated provisioning, according to one example embodiment, enables a mutual customer to establish an intelligent and automated connection between an accounting software system and their financial institution. For example, this might be achieved by allowing a financial institution customer to make feeds from their bank accounts available to the accounting software system within financial internet software (e.g., hosted and operated by the customer's financial institution). Once a customer selects the bank account(s) they want to share with the accounting software system, they are passed along to the accounting software system to link the selected bank account with an account they have set up in the accounting software system.

Abstract: Systems and methods for the automated fulfillment of orders from a fulfillment network including consumer-facing retail locations. Orders are partitioned into suborders, which are in turn assigned to retail locations based on forecasted demand for the suborder items at the retail locations. The assignment process considers operational data for each retail location such as the number of employees, the inventory of suborder items, shipping rate cards, return policies, business hours, pick decline estimations, etc.

Abstract: An electronic computer-implemented and interactive platform is described, which permits the offer, sale, and distribution of diamonds by sellers to purchasers and, as a result, into the overall diamond marketplace. Each diamond is scanned in order to create a three-dimensional (3D) virtual model that can include images and/or other data that digitally identifies that diamond, providing a “fingerprint” of the diamond. The purchaser may have highly confidential and proprietary information that specifies the critical details of its manufacturing process for each type of cut of polished diamond, referred to as polished diamond parameters (PDPs). A planning system is used to offload time consuming and computationally expensive planning operations from the manufacturer (or other purchaser), and does so prior to a purchase. The planning system and a matching process are used by the platform to enable the data in each PDP file to be applied to the 3D virtual model of each individual diamond.
