Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for augmented visualization of a planogram of one or more supply chain entities. Embodiments include creating a planogram comprising one or more products, the products associated with a location, and retrieving an image of the planogram and one or more customer segments. Embodiments further include mapping one or more coordinates in an image of a planogram that correspond to the one or more customer segments and rendering an augmented visualization comprising altering the image of a planogram at one or more coordinates to illustrate the one or more customer segments.
Abstract: An electronic device and method of correcting bias for supervised machine learning data is provided. The electronic device comprises a processor and memory storing instructions which when executed by the processor configure the processor to perform the method. The method comprises training an auto-encoder with an unbiased subset of historical data, and applying the auto-encoder to correct historical data.

Abstract: A system for authorizing a transaction includes one or more processors, and a memory storing instructions. When executed by the one or more processors, the instructions cause the system to perform operations including: receiving a configuration request associated with a financial service account via a web interface; setting a limitation in accordance with the configuration request; and generating a graphic indicium or a card number as a token for authorizing a transaction, associated with the financial service account, which satisfies the limitation in accordance with the configuration request. The token is configured to be printed on a substrate or loaded into an electronic payment system.
Abstract: A detection system for estimating a weight of one or more items in a refrigerator is disclosed. The system comprises at least one shelf; at least one transducer configured to transmit a sonic or ultrasonic wave into the at least one shelf and capture the reflected or refracted wave from the shelf; and a processor configured to estimate the weight of the one or more items on the shelf from the sonic or ultrasonic wave received from the at least one transducer. The system further comprises a plurality of cameras configured to capture images of the one or more items on the shelf. The cameras are configured to capture images of the items while on the shelf and off the shelf, which are then used to identify the items and the changes in weight of those items. Items may be automatically reorder based on their weight or change in weight.
Abstract: Technologies for remotely managing payment authorization request messaging for payment transactions include a transaction management controller of one environment and a point of interaction device of another environment. The transaction management controller receives a transaction amount for a payment transaction from a business management engine. The payment transaction is based on a purchase transaction initiated by a merchant computing device of the other environment. The transaction management controller also receives payment card data from the point of interaction device, which is communicatively isolated from the merchant computing device and the business management engine. The transaction management controller inserts the transaction amount and the payment card data into a payment authorization request message, which is transmitted to a payment network.

Abstract: A method and system for the purchase and activation of services on a wireless device are provided. The method and system include the use of an airtime card with a near field communication tag with a unique identifier code used to improve a user's experience and ease of activation/provisioning of services for the wireless device. In some aspects, the unique identifier may be generated during the activation and purchase of the wireless service and it is not required that the unique identifier code be recorded in a backend system of the wireless provider prior to activation. The services to be purchased and activated may include at least one of the following: out of the box activation, device upgrades, device reactivations, wireless number changes, wireless number porting, and the addition or purchasing of services including airtime, data, and/or SMS enrollments or data content.
Abstract: A method for identifying a product removed from a cabinet includes detecting visual characteristics of the product removed from the cabinet by a camera within the cabinet. The method may include detecting an identifier on the product removed from the cabinet by an identifier sensor, and comparing the visual characteristics and the identifier to a database of product information. The product removed from the cabinet may be identified based on the comparison of the visual characteristics and the identifier to the database of product information.

Abstract: Systems and methods for tracking items. A system for tracking an item is configured to scan the item for a computer readable code and convert the computer readable code into a digital identifier associated with the item. The system includes a controller circuit configured to receive authentication information from the mobile computing device, receive a request from the mobile computing device, comprising the digital identifier and a request for information relating to the item. When the memory has the information, the controller circuit obtains the information from the memory and generates an output comprising the digital identifier and the information for display. The output is based on a comparison of a location of the mobile computing device and an expected location of the item.
Abstract: Disclosed herein are a device, method, and system for dynamically activating a lightweight mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) within a remote control creating an ad-hoc payment system within a media system. When the lightweight mPOS is activated, remote control may operate as an ad-hoc lightweight mPOS that is capable of receiving contactless payment information for purchase of content provided by a media device. The lightweight mPOS may be controlled by the media device in response to a request to purchase the content.
Abstract: Described are a system, method, and computer program product for real-time payment gateway event monitoring. The method includes receiving input data from a merchant system including an application URL associated with a merchant control interface having a web socket programmed and/or configured to persistently listen for HTTP POST messages, and an event of a payment gateway system. The method also includes monitoring ongoing events of the payment gateway system associated with ongoing transaction messages communicated from point-of-sale (POS) devices to the payment gateway system and detecting the event in the ongoing events. The method further includes, in response to detection of the event, generating a HTTP POST message including event data of the event, and communicating the HTTP POST message to the application URL to cause the merchant control interface to display the event data in a chart for visual representation of the event data.
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to performing a transaction using a third party mobile wallet, performing a transaction using a third party point of sale (POS) system and to making a purchase from a third party mobile wallet provided by a third party mobile wallet provider. In one scenario, a cloud-based transaction platform is provided, which receives communication from an agent terminal over a communication channel connected to the cloud-based transaction platform. The agent communication indicates that a customer desires to perform a mobile wallet transaction using their third party mobile wallet.
Abstract: A parcel delivery system and method are provided. The parcel delivery system includes a parcel receptacle unit with one or more lockers that securely receives parcels from any commercial carrier and provides for users to retrieve their parcel. The parcel delivery system includes a parcel receiving system that receives a parcel identification code from multiple sources such as a confirmation delivery message, direct from user, automatically scanned codes during delivery, or manually entered codes during delivery or provided during review post-delivery. Upon arrival to a designated receiver, the parcel is processed and the parcel receiving system captures images of the parcel and of an identification code. Once the identification code of the parcel is verified, an available locker is selected based on the detected size of the parcel and opened to receive the parcel. A locker access code is generated and sent to a receiver for retrieval of the parcel.
Abstract: A method for automatically updating electronic shopping lists of customers of retail stores may include accessing an electronic shopping list of a customer of a retail store, the electronic shopping list including at least one product associated with a shopping order; receiving image data from a plurality of image sensors mounted in the retail store; analyzing the image data to predict an inventory shortage of the at least one product included on the electronic shopping list, wherein the predicted inventory shortage is expected to occur prior to fulfillment of the shopping order; and automatically updating the electronic shopping list based on the predicted inventory shortage of the at least one product.

Abstract: In economic networks, it is not currently possible to observe all flows between entities. Only a portion of relationships between firms is known publicly, and only a portion of those relationships is assigned values through reporting requirements by the regulating public institutions. Therefore, obtaining a plurality of documents that describe companies and their known connections through public sources will necessarily result in an incomplete matrix of customer-supplier relationships containing some mixture of known relationships with known values, known relationships with unknown values, and unknown relationships with unknown values. A method and system is presented to obtain a best estimate of all unknown values given the known information in the network, including an amount that is assigned to unknown entities to be discovered later.
