The socket and male extension forming a fit which prevents rotation between the handle and head.
Abstract: A mop holder comprising a retainer and a mop gripper, both of them being of an inverted U-shaped section and the mop gripper being inserted in the retainer. A mop is gripped between the leg portions of the mop gripper by the engagement with stoppers formed on the inner surface of the mop gripper. The guide ridges formed on the mop gripper are adapted to engage the longitudinal flange formed on the retainer to keep the mop gripper from getting off the retainer.
Abstract: A mop adapted to be squeezed by a pair of rollers mounted on the mop itself. The mop has a handle, a wiper, a squeezing cover, and a pair of rollers mounted in oblique guide slits formed in the squeezing cover. When the squeezing cover is moved down the handle, the rollers are guided to move toward each other so that the wiper caught between the rollers will be tightly squeezed by and between the rollers.

Abstract: The invention relates to a floor mop, which has a support for holding an attachment or the like provided on its underside with a plurality of fringes or the like, or with a raised-pile washing attachment or the like, consisting of two arms and a central piece, whereby the two arms of the support are pivotably linked to the central piece at their mutually facing frontal sides and the central piece is equipped with a handle holder mounted in the middle thereof.
Abstract: A device for wiping automobile windows is proposed. The wiper has a wiper arm that is guided displaceably, by means of a thrust crank mechanism, radially to the pendulum axis on a guide element driven for pendulum motion. On its free end, the wiper arm has a wiper blade placed against the window to be wiped. The guide element has a pendulum lever protruding beyond the pendulum axis, on which lever a gear wheel the axis of rotation of which is located parallel to the pendulum axis is rotatably supported. The gear wheel cooperates with a set of teeth connected to the chassis and concentric with the pendulum axis.
Abstract: A backing member of a wiperblade of a windshield wiper and comprising two elongated body elements extending parallel at a spaced apart relationship and extending substantially along the entire length of a blade rubber to which the backing member is mounted, a plurality of bridge portions being spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the backing member and connecting the body elements, the space between the body elements being adapted to receive a neck portion of the blade rubber, the bridge portions extending in the sidewise direction and above the body elements so as to define a space above the body elements for receiving a head portion of the blade rubber, and two longitudinally spaced apart pivot connections for connecting with a yoke member of the wiper. At least one of the pivot connections is adapted to permit relative longitudinal displacement of corresponding pivot connection of the yoke member. The curvature and the rigidity of the backing member are changed in the longitudinal direction.
Abstract: A chimney brush is mounted between two pulleys within the chimney for reciprocation along the length of the chimney for cleaning deposits from the chimney flue liner. A first pulley is mounted by a bracket on the chimney cap. A second pulley is mounted below the stove connection or thimbol, adjacent an access door to the second pulley. A crank arm is provided for rotation of this lower pulley so that a brush attached to a looped cable between the upper and lower pulleys may be reciprocated along the length of the chimney. A spring connection is provided between the cable and the brush to compensate for any stretching or expansion of the cable due to heating. One of the pulleys has a V groove to ensure frictional driving engagement with the cable. When not in use, the brush is disposed beneath the stove connection or thimbol of the chimney, thus only the cable remains in the chimney, minimizing interference with the smoke flow within the chimney.
Abstract: The invention relates to a connecting device for a wiper system of motor vehicles wherein the wiper system comprises a wiper arm (not shown) of which the front end is articulated to the superstructure (1) of the wiper blade in its medium portion and which comprises a control arm (4) of which the front end is articulated to said superstructure (1) at its rear end. The connecting device between the control arm (4) and the superstructure (1) consists of two elements (5, 6) of which one (5) is made of an elastomer material which has an elongate form and which is locally provided with a reduced transverse section (5a). This reduced transverse section (5a) allows the control arm (4) to take different angular positions with respect to the superstructure (1) of the wiper blade.
Abstract: An interdental toothbrush has a refill with a twisted wire stem which has a molded plastic encasement over the end thereof. A toothbrush handle has a hole with internal contours which complement the external contours of the plastic encasement. A sleeve slides over the hole to capture and entrap the brush.
