Abstract: A system for managing an industrial workflow including a plurality of asset tags, each tag associated with a corresponding asset, and a plurality of point of interest reader nodes, each reader node including at least one BLE radio in communication with a subset of the plurality of asset tags and a communications manager in communication with at least one cloud server. The system further includes a cloud server having a location services module, a process and workflow editor configured to enable a user to access a plurality of rules in a process flow library regarding how different types of assets are expected to move through a facility, and a real-time compute engine configured to generate a sequence of events for an asset and interpret the process and workflow plan to determine whether a trigger event has occurred.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus to credit media presentations for online media distributions are disclosed. Example methods and apparatus determine a presenter of a media session based on a user agent identifier extracted from a proxy record associated with the media session, and in response to determining that the user agent identifier does not identify a publisher, identify a first domain referenced by a URL associated with the media session, and, in response to determining that the first domain matches a domain pattern associated with a publisher and does not match a domain in a list of hosting domains, classify the media of the media session as being published by the publisher associated with the matching domain pattern, the publisher being different from the presenter.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage mediums are provided for facilitating event detection and device control in a distributed computing environment In response to receiving a request, a task flow including an execution sequence for services associated with a task is coordinated. The services are invoked in order according to the execution sequence. Rules and events associated with the services are triggered. Information is routed between rules, events, and services to facilitate completion of the task. The services are maintained and customizations are administered to the services.

Abstract: In an exemplary embodiment, software made in accordance with the present invention displays a marketplace interface, which displays at least a portion of a CAD model and a set of marketplace tool selectors to a user such that the user can manipulate the tool selectors to interact with an electronic marketplace. The marketplace interface may include a spectrum interface designed and configured to allow the user to selectively augment the marketplace interface with additional functionality. Abstract: The present invention relates to a video-based integrated building construction and maintenance management method in which a series of processes of building construction and maintenance after the completion of the construction is produced as a video and registered in a building management server, and this video is configured to be checked by a building owner or resident so that a building can be transparently managed by fundamentally preventing faulty construction that may occur during a construction step and untrustworthy maintenance, and thus a sense of trust may be given to the building owner or resident.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide a computer-implemented technique for monitoring deviation from a meeting agenda. A meeting moderator and meeting agenda are obtained. Meeting dialog, along with facial expressions and/or body language of attendees is monitored. Natural language processing, using entity detection, disambiguation, and other language processing techniques, determines a level of deviation in the meeting dialog from the meeting agenda. Computer-implemented image analysis techniques ascertain participant engagement from facial expressions and/or gestures of participants. A deviation alert is presented to the moderator and/or meeting participants when a deviation is detected, allowing the moderator to steer the meeting conversation back to the planned agenda.

Abstract: A health care provider (HCP) engagement engine is disclosed. The HCP engagement engine facilitates effective communication between pharmaceutical sales representatives (pharma reps) and HCPs by tracking actions performed by pharma reps to sell products to HCPs, analyzing the actions, and eliminating confounding effects due to inbound and outbound activities. Inbound activities include behaviors performed by pharma reps to the HCPs, while outbound activities are taken by HCPs in response to the inbound activities. Reducing confounding allows the pharma reps to have better information about which behaviors best drive HCP engagement.

Abstract: A method for creating events for use by an electronic calendar application. A computer device running a calendar application displays a GUI having a representation of a calendar. A first widget on the GUI initiates a software routine for defining an event. The routine generates an interface window having a plurality of event detail widgets which allow the user to interactively define details of the event. Once the details are entered, the event is saved as a multimedia object, and the multimedia object is placed onto the calendar representation. Further, details of the event may include additional multimedia content. Also, the calendar representation itself may include multimedia content. The event may be defined with an approximate time frame rather than a specific time frame. For example, an event may be linked to another event rather than to a specific time frame.

Abstract: Illustrative embodiments of the present invention are directed to methods and computer systems for reporting a consumer's usage of a resource. A computer system retrieves consumer characteristic data and resource usage data for the first consumer and a set of second consumers including characteristic data related to each consumer. The computer system selects at least one consumer that is similar to the first consumer from the set of second consumers based upon a plurality of common criteria between the first consumer's characteristic data and a second consumer's characteristic data. The computer processes may be performing iteratively until the total number of similar consumers is equal to or greater than the predetermined number of consumers. Once a desired number of similar consumers is found, the computer system generates a report that displays the first consumer's resource usage data and the at least one similar consumers' resource usage data.

Specifically, techniques for generating task items, organizing task items, triggering notifications of task items, and consuming task items are described. In one approach, a task item is generated based on input from a user and context of the input. In another approach, different attributes of task items are used to organize the task items intelligently into multiple lists. In another approach, one or more criteria, such as location, are used to determine when to notify a user of a task. In another approach, actions other than generating notifications are enabled or automatically performed, actions such as emailing, calling, texting, and searching.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for absentee management. Absentee management includes obtaining a demographic feed of employee records, each corresponding to an employee for an entity. Each record includes names of the corresponding employee and a least one other employee which the corresponding employee shares a reporting relationship. Use the demographic feed to construct an organizational tree with nodes, each node representing an employee. Obtain an absentee status feed comprising absentee statuses. Each absentee status corresponds to an employee and includes an absentee status category. Determine from the organization tree and the demographic feed a set of supervisors at the entity. Each respective supervisor in the set of supervisors supervises at least one supervisee having an absentee status category. Communicate a different supervisor status notification to each supervisor.

Abstract: An automatic service monitor in an information technology environment has its operation controlled by information that, in part, define entities that perform services and define key performance indicators (KPIs) that indicate measures of performance of the services. KPIs are defined in terms of search queries applied against machine data by or about the entities that perform the services. The search query aspects of multiple KPI definitions may be tied to a shared base search. Implementation of the shared base search may permit improved performance of the service monitor and may permit a reduction in administrative burden.

The enhanced CRM system performs activities automatically and with the assistance of artificial intelligence and machine learning based on historical information. The enhanced CRM system provides: a) scheduling assistance prior to a customer contact, b) assistance during a call to direct call focus and achieve a personal connection between a customer facing user of the CRM system and a target customer contact, and c) automated assistance to complete a contact and transition to a next target customer contact. Achievement goals for a customer facing user may be presented and monitored with respect to a goal achievement period. Schedules may be dynamically adjusted across multiple CRM system users and with respect to overall organizational goals to enhance achievement of goals.
