  • Patent number: 11062263
Abstract: Methods are provided for sharing patient information by way of an online collaboration system. A requesting clinician, through an online networking system, identifies one or more clinicians with whom the requesting clinician wishes to collaborate by sending at least one patient-focused clinical data element. For the clinicians who have been identified as not being authorized to access patient-identifying data, the at least one patient-focused clinical data element is de-identified such that it no longer includes any patient-identifying data. The de-identified patient-focused clinical data element is then communicated to the clinicians not allowed access to the patient-identifying information.

  • Patent number: 11055766
Abstract: A user enters into a subscription to receive footwear having one or more specified performance characteristics. As the user finishes wearing one set of footwear, the user can obtain a replacement set of footwear that also will have one or more specified performance characteristics. The performance characteristics may be consistent for each set of footwear provided according to the subscription. Alternately, the footwear performance characteristics may vary over the life of the subscription. Thus, the footwear provider may periodically obtain biometric information describing the user's athletic activities or performance. The footwear provider then can tailor the performance characteristics of footwear provided under the subscription to match the user's athletic activities or performance.

  • Patent number: 10997530
Abstract: Systems and methods for multi-resource scheduling are disclosed and described. An example apparatus includes a scheduler engine configured to enable clinical system(s) to operate with the scheduler engine in an analytical mode and an operating mode. When in the analytical mode, the scheduler engine is to dynamically calculate one or more binding constraints on the one or more clinical systems for scheduling. When in the operating mode, the scheduler engine is to manage and output a schedule for the one or more clinical systems based on the one or more binding constraints calculated in the analytical mode. The example scheduler engine is to dynamically switch between the analytical mode and the operating mode based at least in part on a probabilistic determination of delay associated with the schedule.

  • Patent number: 10984498
Abstract: A transportation company uses transportation vehicles. The transportation company receives a plurality of transportation needs. These transportation needs are received from user accounts. The transportation needs are based on states of users gathered without user intervention. Each transportation needs include time parameters and location parameters. The transportation company determines a probabilistic model for transportation needs. The probabilistic model is based on the plurality of transportation needs. The first probabilistic model relate to respective probabilities of transportation needs occurring at the locations and times of the plurality of transportation needs. The transportation company determines which transportation vehicles are currently available. The company then determines a plan which includes some of the vehicles going to some of the locations at some of the times. This plan is based on the probabilistic model.

  • Patent number: 10984365
Abstract: Techniques for determining a new industry classification for a company are described. An industry classifier can access company data of a company and profile data of an employee of the company. Additionally, a plurality of updated classifications associated with the company can be accessed from an industry taxonomy database. A featurization process can calculate a classification score for each updated classification based on the accessed data. Additionally, the featurization process can determine a new industry classification for the company based on the calculation. Subsequently, a company page updater can update a company page associated with the company by adding the new industry classification to the company page.

  • Patent number: 10977748
Abstract: In an approach to event mapping, one or more computer processors extract, from one or more social networks, data, uploaded by one or more users, corresponding to an event, where the event is nature related. The one or more computer processors extract metadata associated with the data extracted from the one or more social networks. The one or more computer processors determine, based, at least in part, on the data extracted from the one or more social networks and on the extracted metadata associated with the data extracted from the one or more social networks, a current state of the event, where the current state of the event includes at least a condition of the event relative to at least a corresponding condition of a pre-defined optimal state of the event.

  • Patent number: 10963926
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein can leverage dynamic data, fields and implied information from online media (e.g., web sites, mobile apps and other forms of online media such as virtual or augmented reality environments) to create a universal variable map and automatically generate deep-linked ads utilizing the universal variable map, linking any arbitrary online media to any other arbitrary online media. The automatically generated deep-linked ads can be inserted into any ad server and served out from there in real-time. A deep-linked ad thus presented to a user can take the user from a starting page on one site or application where the ad is displayed directly to a resulting page such as a checkout page on another site or mobile application, with pertinent information already pre-populated, and action already initiated for the user.

  • Patent number: 10909483
Abstract: A computer method enable retail businesses to manage their customers using personal communication devices. The method assigns a customer to a tail of a first wait list when the customer is at a location remote from the store and registers through a software application on a personal communication device. The method also sends a message to the personal communication device when a length of a second wait list is shorter than a predetermined length and the customer is at a head of the first wait list and ready to be moved to a transition pool. The method also moves the customer from the transition pool to the second wait list after the customer arrives at the store, and removes the customer from the second wait list in response to an action by the store.

  • Patent number: 10860957
Abstract: In a remote technical support system, a technical support controller receives an indication of a maximum number of support sessions to be serviced by a remote technician. Thereafter, the technical support controller receives a service request for a user device, which service request is classified into a category and added to a preliminary queue corresponding to the category. The technical support controller determines if handling of the service request by the remote technician would cause the number of support sessions currently being handled by the remote technician to exceed the previously-indicated maximum number of support sessions. If not, the service request is added to a work queue for the remote technician and removed from the preliminary queue.

  • Patent number: 10824971
Abstract: A method and system may automatically detect failures and schedule repairs for home equipment in a smart home environment when the property owner is away from the property. A smart home controller may receive sensor data from each of several pieces of smart home equipment to detect whether any failures have occurred. If the smart home controller detects a failure in one of the pieces of smart home equipment based on the sensor data, the smart home controller may determine that a first piece of smart home equipment needs to be repaired based on a collective analysis of first and second sets of sensor data from the first piece of smart home equipment and a second piece of smart home equipment, respectively. Then the smart home controller may provide a control signal to the first piece of smart home equipment to shut down or limit operation.
