Abstract: A hair extension for covering a bald region of a head of a user includes a wig having a hair portion, a resilient head band fixedly attached to the hair portion, and a fastener removably attached to the hair portion and adjustably mated to the head band. Notably, a portion of the head band as well as an entirety of the fastener each is seated beneath the hair portion and thereby not visible from an external line of sight directed to the hair portion.

Abstract: A dispenser includes a dispenser body and a sleeve carried by the dispenser body, wherein the sleeve includes a sleeve opening. A card, such as a business card, is repeatably moveable through the sleeve opening. The dispenser includes a dental floss recess for receiving dental floss. The sleeve covers the dental floss recess.

Abstract: A cosmetic product including a pressed cosmetic powder cake is provided. The pressed cosmetic powder cake includes depression formed therein for receiving a liquid to facilitate use of the cosmetic product. The pan defines a recess therein for holding the powder cake. The cosmetic case includes a base portion for receiving the pan and a lid that may be coupled to one another by a hinge.

Abstract: A pool cleaner has a float and close proximity counter weight that together improve the applied torque to steer the pool cleaner, a body 13 has slots 33 diametrically opposed on the body 13 and these receive tangs 66 and 67 which depend from a circular body 68. The body 68 carries a circular guide-way 69 with a guide 70 travelling between opposite ends of the guide-way. A float 26 is connected to the guide by two pivot arms 71 and 72 which have openings at their ends so that they slide into position and are retained in place by snap in retainers 73 and 74. The guide 70 has a circular shoulder 75 and at opposite ends of the guide has projections 76 and 77 such that the rail 78 of the guide-way is retained between the surface 75 and the inner surfaces 78 and 79 of the projections 76 and 77 with the rail against the surface 80. A corresponding structure is on the opposite side of the guide and this retains the rail 81 so that the guide slides around a circular path defined by the rails 78 and 81.

Abstract: The instant application provides methods and systems for applying color to eyebrows and skin at locations where an eyebrow should be. A crème-to-powder formulation is used to apply the color. The crème-to-powder formulation includes a crème-to-powder base and pigmentation to provide a final color suitable for application as eyebrow makeup. A liquid sealant may be used to seal in the color once applied. Various kits are disclosed that include a crème-to-powder formulation and applicators.

Abstract: A hair styling tool having a plurality of bristles and one or more movable members extending radially outward from the core and movable between opposing positions is provided. The movable members move between a retracted position where the divider is fitted between and even with or slightly above or slightly below the bristles to engage the hair and an extended position where the divider is moved out beyond the bristles to disengage the hair from the bristles. The hair styling tool having the movable member which engages and disengages the hair with the bristles minimizes tangling of the hair while brushing. The hair styling tool may be a rotating brush optionally equipped with a motor.

Abstract: A method for applying false eyelashes with an applicator for dispensing false eyelashes, which includes a supply wheel and a take-up wheel, the supply wheel comprising a tape having a plurality of pockets, where the pockets secure individual or clusters of false eyelashes until they are dispensed from a dispensing pivot. The spent tape is returned to the take-up wheel.

Abstract: A cosmetic applicator is provided with a casing including a transparent glass and a mirror; a light and mount assembly disposed in the casing and including a seat, a light, a conductive member, a conductive biasing member, a battery, a moveable member, a stop member, and a case wherein the seat has a battery compartment for anchoring the conductive member, the conductive biasing member, the battery, and the moveable member; and a cosmetic element carrier releasably secured to the casing. A light of the light and mount assembly can automatically emit light after pulling the cosmetic element carrier out of the applicator.

Abstract: A dental shaping strip includes a base portion and a shaping portion. The base portion has a first base surface and a second base surface facing in an opposite direction from the first base surface. The first and second base surfaces have prescribed longitudinal lengths and prescribed widths transverse to the prescribed longitudinal lengths. The shaping portion is connected to a longitudinal edge of the base portion. The shaping portion has a first shaping surface connected to the first base surface, with at least part of the first shaping surface being abrasive. The first and second base surfaces are at least partially non-abrasive. Preferably, the first shaping surface and the first base surface diverge from each other as they approach longitudinal free edges of the dental shaping strip. Preferably, the first and second base surfaces are non-abrasive along their prescribed longitudinal lengths.

Abstract: A head covering assembly with attachable headband provides the appearance that a wearer has a full head of hair by discreetly covering up hair loss. The assembly includes a head covering comprising a foundation and wefts of hair. The wefts of hair are coupled to and extend outwardly from the foundation. The foundation has a front wall wherein the front wall includes a front portion being free from the wefts of hair. A headband is couplable to the front portion of the head covering.

Abstract: In some aspects, fingernail coverings can include a flexible sheet layer configured to conform to and cover a fingernail, the flexible sheet layer defining a first surface configured to adhere to the fingernail; and a fingernail tip extension disposed along an end region of a second surface of the flexible sheet layer that is opposite the first surface, the fingernail tip extension being arranged along the second surface to expose an area of the second surface to be installed over a proximal end of the fingernail.

Abstract: A method and device for flossing teeth utilizing positionally adjustable floss picks holding strands of dental floss. The floss picks fit into a retainer component and are positioned to insert the floss strands into the interproximal dental spaces between the user's teeth. The position of individual floss picks can be adjusted to achieve the correct fit. The disclosure also teaches a retainer with two sides comprising slotted tracks extending substantially the length of each retainer side. The slots contain floss strands.

Abstract: A hair accessory for receiving and retaining a bundle of hair, a method of making such a hair accessory, and methods of styling hair and instructing others to style hair using such a hair accessory are provided. The hair accessory comprises a thin, resilient, continuously formed, ductile metallic member. The continuously formed ductile metallic member is covered by at least one thin sheet-like backing member. The ductile metallic member and the one or more backing members form an opening for receiving and retaining a bundle of hair.

Abstract: A handle has distal and proximal ends and a drive mechanism. Operational components on the handle include ON and OFF controls and a vibrating coupler to create sonic vibrations. A coupling head has a distal and a proximal ends. The proximal end is formed with a coupling recess. A replaceable holder has a central base and two outwardly extending fingers. The fingers have free ends with a piece of floss secured there between. The central base has a shape for coupling to and uncoupling from the coupling head. The length of the floss between the fingers is from 5 to 10 percent greater than the distance between the fingers. A compressible stop is on the base of the holder between the fingers. The remainder of the fingers are devoid of a compressible stop.

Abstract: An applicator for applying a cosmetic composition comprising an applicator element. The applicator element may be elongated along a longitudinal axis. The applicator has a first portion and a second portion separateable from the first portion and capable of moving independently from the first portion along the longitudinal axis. The first and/or second portions of the applicator element include means for holding a charge of cosmetic composition and transferring it to an integument on contact therewith.

Abstract: An apparatus (10) for styling hair includes first and second members (12, 14) operatively connected to each other and adapted for relative movement between a generally open condition to receive a length of hair and a generally approximated position to engage the length of hair and a brush (22) mounted relative to the first and second members (12, 14). The brush (22) is adapted for rotational movement about a longitudinal axis defined thereby to brush the length of hair when the first and second members (12, 14) are in the approximated condition. At least one, if not both, of the first and second members (12, 14) may include a heating element (58) for heat treating the length of hair.

Abstract: A dental device having a cap and a set of disposable cleaning instruments a user needs for a day or a trip. Each instrument comprising a handle and a portion for cleaning teeth, such as a toothbrush with toothpaste, or a dental flosser, or a toothpick and a handle, or a rupturable dispenser with mouthwash liquid. Each handle and a cap has identical longitudinal cavity with the one open. A part of the first instrument including its cleaning portion is inserted into the cavity of the cap, a part of the second instrument including its cleaning portion is inserted into the cavity of the first instrument, a part of the third instrument including its cleaning portion is inserted into the cavity of the second instrument, and so on. Each cavity and a portion of the instrument inserted into it have at least one set of complementary shapes providing releasable snaps sealing the cavity and holding the engaged instruments and the first instrument and the cap. The device is safe, user friendly and sanitary to carry.

Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a system for easily carrying mascara and multiple other cosmetic products to be applied to the face and in particular to a unitary stick system for easily carrying a mascara and three other cosmetic products for application to the face wherein the user may mix more than one of these other cosmetic products during application to create an aesthetically different cosmetic product.
