  • Patent number: 11829927
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, systems, and computer program products for interactive deliveries are provided. For an upcoming service point that is associated with a service point device, it is determined whether the item to be delivered to the service point is within an activation zone for activating the service point device. Responsive to determining that the item is within the activation zone, the service point device is remotely activated. Remotely activating the service point device triggers dynamical provision of an alert interface. An indication of user interaction via the user interface indicating availability of the user to receive the item is received. A notification of the indication of the user interaction is provided. If the notification indicates that the individual is available to receive the item at the service point, the item is delivered to or picked-up from the service point.

  • Patent number: 11810047
Abstract: An online system receives, from a customer mobile application (CMA) an order including a high-value item determines that the order includes the high-value item. The online system transmits an indication that the order includes the high-value item to a delivery mobile application (DMA). The DMA transmits a real-time location of a client device of a delivery agent to the online system. Responsive to determining that the delivery agent is at a delivery location, the online system transmits an indication to the DMA to display a user interface including an interactive element for requesting a signature from a customer. Responsive to receiving an indication of an interaction with the interactive element, the online system transmits an indication to the CMA to display a user interface with a signature element. The CMA transmits a signature received via the signature element to the online system, which stores the signature as verification information.

  • Patent number: 11741417
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for delivery confirmation using wireless beacons. A merchant may include a wireless beacon, such as a small token or device, inside of a package for delivery. The beacon may communicate with a user device for a user when the package is delivered to the user. The beacon may include recipient information of eligible recipients for the package. The beacon may receive identification information for the user when the user device connects to the beacon. A delivery person in possession of the package may then determine if the user is an eligible recipient for the package using the recipient information and the identification information. After delivery of the package, the user may reuse the beacon by erasing the recipient information from the beacon and storing new recipient information on the beacon. The user may then place the beacon in another package for delivery.
