A mobile device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a memory which stores a first application and a second application; a user interface module which receives specific time information and specific location information according to the first application stored in the memory; a display module which displays a schedule including the received specific time information and specific location information; and a controller which controls the memory, the user interface module, and the display module, wherein the controller performs control so as to execute the second application stored in the memory, receive additional information on the specific location according to the executed second application, and change the schedule on the basis of the received additional information.

Abstract: A kiosk device for a motor vehicle includes an imaging unit, a voice input unit, a vehicle detecting unit configured to detect entry of a motor vehicle, a financial automation transaction unit including a touch interface unit, a control unit and a driving unit. When the entry of the motor vehicle is detected by the vehicle detecting unit, the control unit activates the imaging unit and the voice input unit and analyze motion information of a vehicle occupant imaged by the imaging unit or voice information of the vehicle occupant inputted through the voice input unit. The driving unit drives the financial automation transaction unit based on an analysis result of the motion information or the voice information so that the financial automation transaction unit is operated to face a direction of a vehicle occupant location.

Abstract: A system and method that provides for the routing and delivery of services to consumers by providers is disclosed. The system enables providers to advertise and list the products and services they provide, and customers to solicit bids or to otherwise seek to engage a provider to perform a service or from whom to purchase a good. The system may store customer and provider information in databases to be searched to identify a match between customer and provider. The system transmits navigation information to the provider's device to travel to the final destination. The navigation information includes an intermediary destination the provider must reach before being presented with the final destination. The system may include a notification feature to notify a customer or third party regarding the location of the provider or the status of a requested service or delivery.

Abstract: Described are systems and processes for generating dynamic effort-based delivery value predictions for real-time delivery of perishable goods. In one aspect, a system is configured for generating dynamic delivery value predictions for delivery opportunities provided to couriers. For each order, delivery events and corresponding timestamps are received from devices operated by customers, restaurants, and couriers. Based on the timestamps, the system generates a predicted delivery duration with trained predictive models that use weighted factors such as order data and historical restaurant data. A service value for the delivery of the order is determined based the predicted delivery duration and a predetermined active time value. The service value is then transmitted along with the corresponding delivery opportunity to a user device of a courier. The determined service values may be adjusted based on courier acceptance rates of delivery opportunities and other factors such as customer experience.

The graph is segmented into a plurality of fully-connected maximal sub-graphs based on one or more connections between the plurality of clusters. One or more fully-connected maximal sub-graphs of the plurality of fully-connected maximal sub-graphs have a set of common clusters. The plurality of fully-connected maximal sub-graphs are used for performing one or more transportation service operations of the transportation service.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for managing and optimizing delivery networks. The method includes providing an intermediary between a consumer and a plurality of carriers, each carrier enabling items to be transported from pick up locations for the items to a delivery location associated with the consumer. The method also includes enabling, via a user interface for the intermediary, the consumer to request delivery of an order comprising one or more items to the delivery location. The method also includes communicating with the plurality of carriers to determine at least one available delivery time window according to carrier availability and a transit time for the requested delivery, the transit time being affected by inventory data and the delivery location. The method also includes initiating the delivery by a selected one of the plurality of carriers.

Abstract: A parcel box includes a weather resistant housing, a temperature control system, a communication module, and electrical circuitry. The weather resistant housing includes a lockable door for providing access to a protected cavity configured for receiving a parcel for temporary secure storage of the parcel. The temperature control system selectively controls a temperature inside the protected cavity. The communication module receives delivery data including an estimated delivery time for the parcel. The electrical circuitry operates the temperature control system to adjust the temperature of the protected cavity to within a preferred temperature range prior to the estimated delivery time of the parcel and maintains the temperature for at least a specified period of time.

Abstract: In one embodiment a transportation request is received from a passenger having an account with a taxi service. A driver associated with the taxi service is directed to pick up the passenger and transport the passenger to a location specified by the passenger. It is determined that the passenger should be offered an item of merchandise to use temporarily. In response to the passenger accepting the item of merchandise, an update is sent to a data store, the update indicating that the passenger is in possession of the item of merchandise.

Abstract: In an embodiment, articles such as items are left in storage areas in a storage bank by delivery service. A delivery service selects the intended recipient from a list of intended recipients. If the intended recipient is not found on the list, information about the intended recipient (e.g. a photo of the mailing label or other information) is entered into the system, and a message having the information is left in a house account. In response, a message is received having additional information about the intended recipient, which is used to contact the intended recipient and request the intended recipient to pick up the item.

A product securing subsystem is attached to the autonomous road vehicle and comprises at least one securable compartment. An access subsystem comprising at least one access information interface. According to various embodiments, the systems and methods may include features designed to determine whether the shipped item is likely to comply with customer-defined shipping requirements throughout the entire shipping process. According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, the user experience can be improved.
