Abstract: A bag including a body forming a cavity, a flap comprising a first flap end and a second flap end, wherein the first flap end is attached to the body. The bag may also include a cord having a first end, a second end, and a middle portion, wherein the first end is attached to the second flap end, the second end is attached to the second flap end, and the middle portion extends between the first end and the second end. The bag may also include a hook attached to the body at an attachment location, wherein the hook is configured to receive the middle portion of the cord such that the flap is secured to the body at the attachment location and the flap covers the cavity.

Abstract: A wheel jack holder for a vehicle may include a holder base having at least one sliding member formed at each of first and second side portions of the holder base, whereby a wheel jack is configured for being placed on the holder base; and a pair of holder arms, each having a sliding rod formed at a first surface thereof, wherein the sliding rod is slidably inserted into a hole of the sliding member. The pair of holder arms may move away from each other when receiving force from the wheel jack to be fixed to a wheel rim of a wheel.

Abstract: A tire storage device includes a base plate, a frame, and a storage container. The base plate secures the device to the frame of a semi-truck behind the cab. The storage container is also coupled to the base plate and includes a door and latch to provide selective access to an internal volume for the storage and access of tools used to facilitate changing tires on the truck. The frame supports one or more wheels. A lifting mechanism is included to raise and lower the wheels to and from the ground. A motor is selectively operated to facilitate movement. A guard is optionally included to maintain hoses at safe distances from the storage device.

Abstract: A backpack cover including (i) a shell having an opening and (ii) a band surrounding the perimeter and capable of securing the shell on a backpack. The backpack cover may be convertible and further include at least one pair of fasteners being capable of having a shoulder strap attached thereto and a zipper including a first set of teeth and a second set of teeth configured to engage with each other and close the opening. The backpack cover may also further include at least one solar panel and an output electrically connected, via a voltage converter to the solar panel.

Abstract: A personal item management apparatus includes a bag including opposing first and second side panels, opposing first and second end panels, and a bottom panel. In several embodiments, a first foot is formed by the bottom panel and/or the first side panel, and a second foot is formed by the bottom panel and/or the second side panel. When placed on a flat surface, the first and second feet are adapted to provide support so that the apparatus stands upright and at least a portion of the bottom panel is spaced apart from the flat surface. In several embodiments, a zipper is coupled to each of the opposing first and second side panels. A wearable band may be coupled to the zipper so that the zipper is openable and closeable by moving: the wearable band relative to the bag; and/or the bag relative to the wearable band.

Abstract: A spacer device with a modular, truss-like structure for creating airflow between a user and a wearable bag may include a first panel having a first substantially planar web-like body, a second panel spaced from the first panel, the second panel having a second substantially planar web-like body, a plurality of modular supports extending between the first panel and the second panel, such that a distance between the first panel and the second panel is substantially uniform and adjustable, and a plurality of extension loops extending from an outer surface of the spacer device, the plurality of extension loops each being sized to accommodate placement of a strap therethrough.

Abstract: Exemplary spare tire cover systems for motor vehicles may include features for assisting in raising/lowering a spare tire to/from a vehicle mounted position. Exemplary system features may include, but are not limited to, a deployable ramp, a wheel stop, a wheel catcher, and a strut assembly for moving the deployable ramp between stowed and deployed positions. The spare tire cover systems may additionally include features designed for increasing the functionality of the system, including but not limited to integrated deployable steps and handrails, lighting, sensors, etc.

Abstract: A fixing is provided for securing a spare wheel to a structure, for example a part of a vehicle, the fixing including a connector having a lug arranged such that rotation of the fixing relative to the structure moves the lug into a recess of the structure to secure the fixing to the structure; and wherein the connector further includes a resilient articulated arm arranged to act between the fixing and the structure to urge the lug into the recess when the fixing is connected to the structure.

Abstract: A carrier system for a vehicle having a pair of vacuum devices shaped and sized to mate and secure to a recreational article. Each vacuum device includes a pad shaped and sized to detachably seat with a vehicle to form a vacuum cavity. The vacuum device includes a plunger attached to the pad and in fluid communication with the vacuum cavity, and an indicator positioned on the plunger to indicate the level of vacuum pressure within the vacuum cavity.

Abstract: A bicycle rack and a cargo rack are disclosed, which can operate together as a single unit. The rack articulates in a variety of ways such as to allow access to the vehicle while mounted with bicycles in the rear and to ease access to the roof for placement and removal of cargo.

Abstract: A “Wing-shaped” liquid bladder device is disclosed having angular shoulder wings on the left and right sides. The wings join at an angle creating a substantially “V-Shaped” hollow volume for storing liquids. A re-sealable opening receptacle can be found on top the bladder for filling the hollow volume. One or more additional arms can be added to the wings. The wings and arms meet at a lower distal end to create a substantially “V-shaped” funnel that is attached to an outlet pipe. In the front, shoulder straps are attached to the wings and they go over and across the front of the wearer's body to a lower portion of the arms of the bladder. The outlet pipe is attached to the funnel and extends up to the wearer's shoulder. A drinking straw can be attached to the outlet pipe to allow the user to easily access the liquids inside.

The container can includes a frontward wall portion, a rearward wall portion, a first sidewall portion, a second sidewall portion, an inner bottom surface of the container, and a plurality of leg storage compartments that are each configured to stow a removable leg of the container, wherein each leg storage compartment of the plurality of leg storage compartments is positioned between a terminating end of the rearward sidewall portion and a terminated end of at least one of the first sidewall portion or the second sidewall portion.

Abstract: A backpack providing enhanced storage and a carrier for holding a child is disclosed. The backpack includes a back plate having a receptacle for storing items. Further, the back plate includes connecting straps drawing through strap openings. The back plate includes shoulder straps. The backpack includes a face plate having a receptacle for storing items. The face plate connects to the back plate. The backpack further includes a front plate having front plate strap connectors and top straps. A user puts on the first shoulder straps over his shoulder to use the back plate as a backpack. Further, the user connects the front plate strap connectors to the connecting straps, and the top straps to the first shoulder straps creating a child receiving portion. The user places a child in the child receiving portion between his body and the front plate for use as a carrier for holding a child.

Abstract: A medical backpack for storing medical supplies and medical equipment is disclosed. The medical backpack can be used by medics working in rural or remote areas that are not accessible by car and where access to hospitals and medical supplies is limited or non-existent. The medical backpack is light enough to carry long distances and comprised of a number of different compartments that are flexible to equip with various supplies for specific needs and circumstances.

A haul handle to be grasped and including a hollow interior and a closure so as form a selectively openable rain cover storage compartment. A rain cover configured and sized to cover at least the backpack body, the rain cover having at least a deployed condition in which the rain cover extends from the top portion downwardly to cover over the entire backpack body to protect the backpack body and the articles contained within the backpack body from precipitation while the backpack is worn by the user during precipitation, and the rain cover having at least a stowed condition within the rain cover storage compartment of the haul handle to provide padding to the haul handle when the hand of the user grasps the haul handle to pick-up the backpack.

Abstract: A fishing rod holding apparatus is provided. The apparatus may include a crossbar and one or more rod receivers affixed to the crossbar. Each of the rod receivers may be configured to receive a fishing rod. Further, the apparatus may include at least one bracket engaged with the crossbar and configured to engage a boat. The apparatus may additionally include an actuator engaged with crossbar and configured to rotate the crossbar to change an angle of the one or more rod receivers with respect to the vertical plane. A related boat and a related boat accessory operation method are also provided.

Abstract: An SCBA frame for mounting self-contained breathing apparatus bottle vertically such that the frame can articulate with the back of a user, comprising an upper plate, intermediate plate and a lower plate each connected by attachment mechanisms. Each of the plates may comprise a top edge, a bottom edge, and a pair of sides. A first coupling mechanism coupled to the bottom edge of the upper plate and a top edge of the intermediate plate and a second coupling mechanism coupled to the bottom edge of the intermediate plate and the top edge of the lower plate. The first and second coupling mechanisms allow the upper plate, intermediate plate, and lower plate to move about the horizontal axis and torsionally in line with the user's movement. The first and second coupling mechanism comprises a pair of attachment mechanisms located proximate the sides of the upper plate and intermediate plate.
