Abstract: The embodiments herein provide a system and method for auditing a plurality of multimedia content, creating a contextual cycle of multimedia contents, and associating the plurality of the multimedia content with a source. The system comprises a plurality of multimedia input sources configured for receiving a plurality of multimedia content, an analysis and recognition module connected to the plurality of multimedia input sources and configured for analyzing and recognizing the plurality of the received multimedia contents, and an auditing console communicatively coupled with the analysis and recognition module.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a consumer device is assigned, at a broadcast headend to one of at least two groups of consumer devices, the two groups including a first group of consumer devices which is required to play content of a second type in order to view content of a first type and a second group of consumer devices which is not required to play content of the second type in order to view content of the first type. A video broadcast stream is sent from the broadcast headend to the consumer device, the video broadcast stream comprising content of the first type sent associated with a first packet ID (PID) and content of the second type sent associated with a second PID, wherein the first PID and the second PID are processed at the consumer device at the same time.

Abstract: A system and method for distributing video commentary related to certain content by a user to another user or user group is disclosed. The system includes a network, a system server connected to the network, and a set of user machines connected to the network. A third party content provider is connected to the system server. The system server provides a distribution system and process that defines user groups among the set of user machines in order distribute content between individual user machines and among user groups.

Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed that relate to providing digital content recommendations based upon environmental sensor data. For example, one embodiment provides a computing device configured to receive sensor data from a sensor system, to detect a user present in the use environment via the sensor data, identify the user, recognize a current state of each of one or more use environment state features associated with the user via the sensor data, and store the current state of each of the one or more use environment state features. The computing device is further configured to detect a triggering condition for a selected use environment state feature, and in response provide information related to the selected use environment state feature based upon one or more of the current state of the use selected use environment state feature and a previously-stored state of the selected use environment state feature.

Abstract: A network device may receive a signal from a headend, wherein a bandwidth of the received signal spans from a low frequency to a high frequency and encompasses a plurality of sub-bands. The network device may determine, based on communication with the headend, whether one of more of the sub-bands residing above a threshold frequency are available for carrying downstream data from the headend to the circuitry. The network device may digitize the signal using an ADC operating at a sampling frequency. The sampling frequency may be configured based on a result of the determining. When the sub-band(s) are available for carrying downstream data from the headend to the network device, the sampling frequency may be set to a relatively high frequency. When the sub-band(s) are not available for carrying downstream data from the headend to the network device, the sampling frequency may be set to a relatively low frequency.

Automatically selected and confirmable candidate characters are displayed on the virtual keyboard according to the search result. Movement of the remote controller is tracked, movement speed V1 of a focus point of the remote controller on the virtual keyboard is calculated and whether movement speed is greater than a preset speed affects the recognition of commands by the assistant. Movement speed of the focus point can auto-move the focus point to a second character and the second character can be confirmed as input. A text input device is also disclosed.

The method comprises the steps of partitioning the set of first identifiers into a second number, N, of sub-partitions, wherein the second number, N, of sub-partitions represents the number of possible values required to represent a set of second information items. A sub-partition is used to transmit a second information item while also transmitting a first information item using a first identifier.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media can be operable to facilitate integrating and coordinating content requests received by a STB from multiple devices. The methods, systems, and apparatuses described in this disclosure enable the integration and coordination of content requests received from different devices by associating a content request with a key code and generating a synthesized key code. The synthesized key code can be customized according to a status of a corresponding STB.

The processor may further be configured to receive capability information from each of the sink devices. The processor may further be configured to generate a control message including a group session ID and a transport port number. The processor may further be configured to determine a set of streaming parameters for the sink devices. The processor may further be configured to transmit, using the transport port number and according to the set of streaming parameters, the particular multimedia content to each of the Wi-Fi peer-to-peer connected sink devices.

In one or more embodiments, an audience manager is configured to create, for one or more videos, a video audience segment associated with the video by storing, in a data management platform, user identifiers of users that viewed the video. The user identifiers can be received from a client player each time that a video is played at the client player. The audience manager is further configured to extract demographic information from a demographic report associated with the video that is received from a demographics provider, and to associate the demographic information with the video audience segment. The audience manager is further configured to generate a target audience segment for a campaign by merging and combining user identifiers that are included in two or more video audience segments.

The second information may include information aggregated from external source devices that are different from the source device. The device may generate an enriched program schedule using the program schedule and the second information.
