  • Patent number: 11870666
Abstract: Example embodiments involve a metrics collection system for collecting software usage metrics from one or more client devices at deployments. A computer, such as a server configured to execute the metrics collection system, collects software usage metrics (e.g., as a metrics submission from a client device) of the software product at the deployment, identifies a metrics type of the software usage metrics collected, assigns the software usage metrics to a metrics category, and calculates and updates a metrics score of the metrics category, based on the software usage metrics collected.

  • Patent number: 11870635
Abstract: Disclosed here are systems and methods for integration of third-party, dynamic embedded processes into a single process residing within a server or network. The disclosed technology enables entities and third-party service providers to communicate and share data and processes with each other on a single platform, which a user can engage with to access both the embedded processes and other processes internal to the platform. Integration of embedded-process communications also generates visualization of the processes between the entities responsible for completion of the process and the third-party service providers they engage to assist them in its completion. Sharing processes and relaying corresponding data between entities, third parties, and users is live and continually updated. This allows for information to be transmitted to/from various different parties and allows for live application of any changes in process or data.

  • Patent number: 11860866
Abstract: A website is navigated automatically in a sequential manner, for example by performing a series of specific network requests in a specified order, without necessarily using a browser, and without necessarily rendering each web page in the sequence. Interactions with a website are automatically recorded, stored, and analyzed. Requests and responses can be associated with particular input/output operations. Based on the analysis, the system can determine what data is expected by web servers, so that it can effectively simulate browser operations in connection with those web servers, and extract useful information from the data received in response to those operations. Thus, data extraction and/or other operations can be performed more efficiently and more quickly, while reducing the computing resources needed.

  • Patent number: 11843567
Abstract: Methods and systems provide for the ability to display reactions within a video communication session. First, the system displays, for each of a number of participants within a video communication session, a user interface (UI), with the UI including a reactions session with a variety of selectable visual reactions, a number of participant windows corresponding to participants, and videos of at least a subset of the participants which are displayed within the participant windows. The system receives a selection of a reaction via a video client device connected to the video communication session, where the client device is associated with one of the participants. The system then displays the selected reaction within the UI of at least one of the participants within the corresponding participant windows for a predetermined period of time. Aggregate reactions may be displayed when a number of participants select the same reaction.

  • Patent number: 11818087
Abstract: A method comprises executing a user-to-user messaging application in a first computer system used by a user support agent. The user-to-user messaging application receives an input from the user support agent, where the input includes a command for triggering a test of a human-invocable operation of a service that operates on a first cloud-based computing platform. The user-to-user messaging application transmits the command from the first computer system to a web service hosted on a second cloud-based computing platform via a computer network, to invoke an API of the web service. The second cloud-based computing platform is remote from the first computer system. Invocation of the API by the web service initiates the test of the human-invocable operation of the cloud-based service that operates on the first cloud-based computing platform.

  • Patent number: 11818001
Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention provides a system for facilitating layer-2 subnet extension. During operation, the system can query, from a first administrative domain, a remote database of a second administrative domain for configuration information associated with one or more remote network segments. The system can obtain, from a user interface of the first administrative domain, an instruction for performing layer-2 subnet extension from a first network segment under the first administrative domain to a second network segment of the one or more remote network segments for providing a common layer-2 broadcast domain. The system can then send a remote instruction executable in the second administrative domain for configuring a remote endpoint for the extension. The system can also configure a local endpoint in the first network segment for the extension. Subsequently, the system can establish a data connection between the local and remote endpoints for the extension.

  • Patent number: 11818227
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for evaluation of application interactions and associated metadata to manage application feature experiments, use of synthetic traffic (“canaries”), and the like. Data regarding application interactions and associated application metadata may be evaluated to identify usage patterns and conditions associated with desired actions, and usage patterns and conditions associated with undesired actions. Identifying such usage patterns and conditions can facilitate prediction of future actions given some set of observed application interactions and application metadata. Such predictions can be leveraged to perform experiments that optimize the occurrence of desired actions, and implement canaries to determine the effect of various user journeys and application data on desired actions.

  • Patent number: 11765179
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for recommending security groups using graph-based learning models. A server can create a network graph that illustrates network flows between devices in a network and security groups that the devices belong to. The network graph can include nodes that represent the devices and security groups. The server can apply a graph-based learning model to learn embeddings of the nodes and create vectors using the embeddings. Using vectors of two nodes, the server can calculate a vector that represents an edge between the two nodes. The server can apply a binary classifier determine whether the edge should exist. A “true” classification between two nodes can indicate that they should be able to communicate, and vice versa. A “true” classification between a device node and a security group node can indicate that the device should be assigned to the security group, and vice versa.

  • Patent number: 11765115
Abstract: A system and method for recommending emojis to send by a messaging application includes receiving user biosignals from at least one sensor, receiving context information from at least one context source, and selecting, using a rule-based heuristic state selector, a list of plausible user states from possible heuristic states in a heuristic state table based on the received user biosignals and received context information. A state predictor determines, from at least the list of plausible user states and a user model of emojis previously sent in different user states, a list of user states and probabilities that the user will send an emoji for each user state given the context information. The recommended emojis are displayed for selection for sending by the messaging application in order from the highest to the lowest probabilities that the user will send the recommended emojis based on a selected plausible user state.
