  • Publication number: 20210128014
Abstract: The present invention is directed to locating and imaging with a swallowable sensor device disposed in a patient. The swallowable sensor device transmits an acoustic signal from inside a patient's body. A plurality of sensing elements receive the acoustic signal. A computation module determines a location of the swallowable sensor device with respect to the plurality of sensing elements based on the acoustic signal received by at least a subset of the plurality of sensing elements. A three-dimensional image of an interior portion of the patient can also be formed based on the received acoustic signal. The three-dimensional image may be formed by stereoscopically displaying two two-dimensional images of the interior portion, wherein the two two-dimensional images correspond to the swallowable sensor device being located at two different locations. Alternatively, the three-dimensional image may be formed by computing three-dimensional pixels of the interior portion.

  • Patent number: 10976939
Abstract: One or more memory systems, architectural structures, and/or methods of storing information in memory devices is disclosed to improve the data bandwidth and or to reduce the load on the communications links in a memory system. The system may include one or more memory devices, one or more memory control circuits and one or more data buffer circuits. In one embodiment, the Host only transmits data over its communications link with the data buffer circuit. In one aspect, the memory control circuit does not send a control signal to the data buffer circuits. In one aspect, the memory control circuit and the data buffer circuits each maintain a separate state machine-driven address pointer or local address sequencer, which contains the same tags in the same sequence. In another aspect, a resynchronization method is disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10932335
Abstract: A painted vehicle trim component such as a spoiler, side-view mirror housing, or other vehicle body part is provided with electroluminescent paint to emit light from its surface. The trim component includes a substrate having a mounting surface for attaching to the vehicle. A conductor body is at least partially embedded in the substrate to provide a conductive surface exposed externally of the substrate. A conductive wire is crimped to the conductor body and is adapted to connect to an electrical power source remotely from the vehicle trim component. A conductive bus bar paint layer is deposited over the substrate and onto the exposed conductive surface of the conductor body. A light-emitting paint layer deposited over the substrate is disposed relative to the conductive paint layer such that light is emitted when an electrical signal is received at the conductive wire.

  • Patent number: 10924868
Abstract: Elongated scalar coils modify or enhance the audio quality and of a speaker system and its auditory effects on a user. A scalar coil has two spiral windings with opposite winding directions. Scalar coil is in series with an input of the speaker to change the sound signature and to reduce digital noise. Scalar coil is also in series with a laser emitter that produces a laser beam that travels through the scalar coil, which produce electromagnetic forces that improve perceived audio quality in a user.

  • Patent number: 10880654
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for creating a sensation in which a sound driver emits sound waves according to incoming information, and one or more light emitters emit light waves with varying patterns according to amplitude and frequency changes in the incoming information. Preferably, only low frequency signals (below 50 Hz) are used to produce the pattern of the light waves, which are directed directly towards the tympanic membrane without any artificial barrier. Emitted light preferably reaches the inner ear region substantially simultaneously with emitted sound waves. A second light emitter can be used to emit light waves that are complementary to, and preferably between 175 and 185 degrees out of phase with, the light waves from the first light emitter, to produce scalar waves.
