  • Patent number: 11083000
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a user equipment for being scheduled with uplink radio resources. The user equipment receives from a radio base station a first-stage uplink resource scheduling message, indicating uplink radio resources usable by the UE to perform an uplink transmission via an unlicensed cell. The receiver further receives a second-stage uplink resource scheduling message, which is related to the first-stage uplink resource scheduling message. Upon reception of the second-stage uplink resource scheduling message, a processor of the UE determines that an uplink transmission is scheduled in case the first-stage uplink resource scheduling message is valid. The first-stage uplink resource scheduling message is determined valid based on a determination as to whether an uplink transmission has been triggered by another second-stage uplink resource scheduling message within a predetermined time period prior to reception of the second-stage uplink resource scheduling message.

  • Patent number: 11063688
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to transmitting transport blocks in subframes of a predefined length within a wireless communication system. A downlink control information including a resource grant comprising a predetermined modulation and a predetermined transport block size is received (user equipment is the transmitter) or generated (base station is the transmitter). Then transport block including channel coded data to be transmitted in a subframe with the predetermined modulation and the predetermined transport block size is generated. Sensing is performed in the subframes and based thereon, it is determined whether a partial subframe or a complete subframe is available for transmission of the generated transport block. Finally, the transport block is transmitted with a modified modulation different from the predetermined modulation if the partial rather than complete subframe is available.

  • Publication number: 20210185673
Abstract: Provided is a terminal apparatus that, when two terminals having mutually different subframe structure patterns are coexistent, can suppress DCI scheduling constraints of those terminals in a base station. In a terminal, a signal separation unit separates, from a received signal, both a response signal assigned to a first resource determined on the basis of a number of resources associated with the first subframes in which the signal was received and downstream control information assigned to a second resource. It should be noted that at a timing when both a first structure pattern that has been set in the terminal and a second structure pattern that has been set in another terminal that cannot change the setting of the structure pattern are the first subframes, the signal separation unit uses a number of resources associated with the first subframes of the second structure pattern.

  • Publication number: 20210168845
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for dynamically indicating a TDD reconfiguration to the mobile station by encoding the dynamic TDD re-configuration indication into the DCI or CRC calculated for the DCI. In one embodiment, the TDD configuration indication is implicitly encoded as an RNTI into the CRC, when scrambling the CRC for the DCI with a TDD-RNTI. In another embodiment, the TDD configuration indication is part of the DCI payload, while the CRC for the DCI is scrambled with a cell identifier, identifying the target cell for which the dynamic TDD re-configuration is to be applied. In still another embodiment, the TDD configuration indication is part of the DCI payload, where the DCI payload further includes an invalid parameter indicating to the mobile station that the DCI carries the TDD configuration indication.

  • Patent number: 11012219
Abstract: The present invention relates to providing control information within a search space for blind decoding in a multi-carrier communication system. In particular, the control information is carried within a sub-frame of the communication system, the sub-frame including a plurality of control channel elements. The control channel elements may be aggregated into candidates for blind decoding. The number of control channel elements in a candidate is called aggregation level. In accordance with the present invention, the candidates of lower aggregation levels are localized, meaning that the control channel elements of one candidate are located adjacently to each other in the frequency domain. Some candidates of the higher aggregation level(s) are distributed in the frequency.

  • Publication number: 20210127371
Abstract: The invention relates to a new structure of a control channel region within a sub-frame of a 3GPP-based based communication system using OFDM in the downlink. This new structure of a control channel region is inter alia particularly suitable for conveying physical downlink control channel information from a donor eNodeB to a relay node. The control channel region is divided in CCEs that have equal size irrespective of the presence of further cell-specific and/or UE-specific reference signals within the control channel region. This is achieved by dividing the control channel region in plural sub-CCEs that are combined to CCEs all having equal size (in terms of resource elements that can be used for the signaling of control information). The control channel region is divided in the frequency domain and/or time domain in a FDM respectively TDM fashion in order to obtain the sub-CCEs.

  • Publication number: 20210119723
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to enabling and disabling of codewords in multi-subframe grants. In particular, dynamic and subframe based enabling/disabling of codewords is enabled even if other control parameters including the resource allocation is performed for multiple subframes. For instance, signal from a scheduling entity to a scheduled entity comprises control information including the resource grant common for multiple subframes and a plurality of codewords for each subframe, and a codeword indication indicating enabling or disabling of one or more codewords for each of the multiple subframes. For each subframe it is determined whether a codeword from the plurality of codewords in said subframes is enabled or disabled according to the codeword indication and/or which codeword is enabled or disabled. The indication of enabling and disabling may alternatively be done by using modulation and coding scheme indicator values which are not associated with a particular modulation and coding scheme.
