  • Publication number: 20060118106
Abstract: Inhaler (1) for powdery, in particular medical substances (10), having a suction air channel (12) leading to the mouthpiece (3), and a storage chamber (11) for a substance (10). A linearly moving dosing chamber (26) apportions a specific amount of substance from the storage chamber (11) into the region of a transfer point to a suction air stream (S) of the air channel. A component of the suction air stream (S), that lies in the direction in which the dosing chamber (26) extends, empties the dosing chamber (26).

  • Publication number: 20060097014
Abstract: Dispenser for delivering portions of pasty substances has an emptying nozzle (18) associated with a squeeze head (13), and a tubular housing (1) in which a plunger (9) is displaced in a stepwise manner during a process of emptying the dispenser. Displacement of the plunger occurs in the direction toward the nozzle (18). The squeeze head can be pressed in, in the direction of the plunger (9), and can be actuated via a handle (H). A cover (21) closes an opening (20) of the nozzle (18). A pivot-pin connection (DV) is provided between the cover and the nozzle, and a slit/pivot pin mounting (23/22) is disposed between cover and the housing such that, once the cover has been displaced open partially, the pivot pin (22) is displaced in the pressing-in direction of the squeeze head (13), and the nozzle is carried along in the process, by way of support against a housing-side abutment (w).

  • Patent number: 6991135
Abstract: Dispenser for delivering portions of pasty substances has a tubular housing with a plunger, an emptying nozzle, a squeeze head, a handle and a stationary cover. The plunger is displaced in the tubular housing in a stepwise manner during emptying actuation in a direction of the emptying nozzle. The nozzle is associated with the squeeze head that can be pressed in the direction of the plunger and can be actuated via the handle. The stationary cover closes an opening cross-section of the emptying nozzle. The handle, upon pressure actuation, pivots about a point which, in relation to the emptying nozzle is located on an opposite side to an actuating-button surface of the handle, and the emptying nozzle pivots away sideways beneath the cover.

  • Publication number: 20050224521
Abstract: The invention relates to a dispenser (Sp) for the apportioned delivery of pasty substances (8/9), comprising a tubular housing (1), in which a plunger (10) advances towards (x arrow) a discharge nozzle (18), when a discharge grip is actuated. A deformable head (13) that can be depressed in the direction of the plunger (10) and actuated by a grip (H) is allocated to said nozzle, together with a locally fixed cover (20) that seals the opening cross-section (19) of the nozzle. The aim of the invention is to ensure that the dispenser is easy to use. To achieve this, the discharge nozzle (18) pivots sideways under the cover (20) when the grip is actuated.

  • Publication number: 20040118877
Abstract: The invention relates to a pump (4) which can be actuated by a hand lever, is used to spray liquids (3), and can be especially placed on bottles (1) or the like. Said pump comprises a piston (13) which can be linearly displaced in a chamber (17) on the side of the housing, against the force of a compression spring, and which is used to spray the liquid (3) out of a mouthpiece nozzle (24). The piston (13) is coupled to the pivotably positioned hand lever (6) by means of a connecting tractional member (G) in such a way that the pivoting movement of the hand lever (6) pulls the piston (13) in the direction of the liquid (3) moving towards the mouthpiece nozzle (24). The connecting tractional member (G) extends from the rear side (49) of the piston (13), parallel to the travel of the piston and in the direction of the mouthpiece nozzle (24). • Patent number: 6234412
Abstract: The invention concerns a spray pump (3) capable of being actuated by a hand lever, to be mounted on dispensers (2) or the like. Said pump comprises a piston pump (6) capable of sliding linearly in a pump chamber (7) on the housing side. Said piston is connected, on the rear side of an outlet (9), to the hand lever (5) and returns to its base position urged by a spring. The invention aims at producing a pump which is both simple and reliable by associating two articulating parts (I, II) with the lever (5). One (I) of said parts is located so as to slide in a linear slider on the housing side, and the other (II) is fixed to the housing, on the side opposite the outlet (9), such that the two articulating parts (I, II) are connected by mutually collapsible contiguous parts (a, b).

  • Patent number: 6234360
Abstract: A dispenser of paste material, such as toothpaste, having an outer housing with an open upper side and a dome at the lower side, the roof of which dome includes the closing body of an air entry valve, which air entry valve displaces into the open position when there is a negative pressure within the outer housing, the dispenser also having an inner housing that protrudes upwardly from the outer housing and which includes an application surface and a nozzle opening on its headpiece, wherein the inner housing can be pushed, using the application surface, against the spring force of a bellows that is disposed in the outer housing, itself being sealed off from the inner housing, the result being that, when this force application of force takes place, a transport slug, which travels within the inner housing in the direction of the nozzle opening, pushes material ahead of itself in response to air pressure that has accumulated behind it.
