  • Publication number: 20060271683
Abstract: A system and method that integrates a plurality of media service systems offering different multimedia services such as media storage, syndication, delivery, and billing services. The system and method also provides automated file transcoding. In embodiment, a method of the present invention includes receiving a plurality of physical media files, organizing the plurality of physical media files so that different bit-rates and formats of a single source material are organized into a media database entity, receiving user specified delivery settings for the distribution of the physical media file, generating a release database entity storing the delivery settings of the physical media file, generating an address indicating the storage location of the release, and transmitting the address to a remote computing device.

  • Publication number: 20050089887
Abstract: The present invention provides a novel family of human ion channel proteins (ICPs). The invention additionally provides for agonists, antagonists, antibodies, antisense molecules that are specific for the ICPs, and further provides genetically engineered expression vectors for the ICPs and host cells comprising the same. The invention further provides for processes for identifying/producing molecules that effect ICP activity that comprise the use of the disclosed ICPs or genes encoding the same.

  • Publication number: 20050009771
Abstract: A method of identifying putative naturally occurring antisense transcripts is provided. The method is effected by (a) computationally aligning a first database including sense-oriented polynucleotide sequences with a second database including expressed polynucleotide sequences; and (b) identifying expressed polynucleotide sequences from the second database being capable of forming a duplex with at least one sense-oriented polynucleotide sequence of the first database, thereby identifying putative naturally occurring antisense transcripts. Also provided are polynucleotides and polypeptide sequences identified by the above-described methodology.

  • Patent number: 5158438
Abstract: An easily adjustable and serviceable plural component pumping system has a frame assembly with a pivotable drive beam. The drive beam passes through spherical rod bearings in the connecting rod of two positive displacement pumps. The pumps are mounted to the frame via hand tightenable clamps so that by loosening the clamp the pumps may be slid along the frame to vary the ratio or remove for servicing without the need for too.
