  • Publication number: 20240152137
Abstract: A method of targeting, which involves capturing a first video of a scene about a potential targeting coordinate by a first video sensor on a first aircraft; transmitting the first video and associated potential targeting coordinate by the first aircraft; receiving the first video on a first display in communication with a processor, the processor also receiving the potential targeting coordinate; selecting the potential targeting coordinate to be an actual targeting coordinate for a second aircraft in response to viewing the first video on the first display; and guiding a second aircraft toward the actual targeting coordinate; where positive identification of a target corresponding to the actual targeting coordinate is maintained from selection of the actual targeting coordinate.

  • Publication number: 20240151280
Abstract: A method for effecting efficient engagement of a clutch to interconnect an engine and an implement which monitors operational parameters of the engine and implement and determines from those operational parameters at least two ramp rates for the application of hydraulic pressure to the clutch. The hydraulic pressure is applied at a first ramp rate to the clutch for a first period and applied at a second ramp rate to the clutch for a second period. A determination is made from the relationship between the input and output speeds of the clutch whether the clutch is fully engaged. If it is not fully engaged, clutch pressure is released and the ramp rates are reevaluated and reset. They are then sequentially applied for the first and second periods. The process repeats until full engagement is achieved or a determination is made that full engagement cannot be achieved.

  • Patent number: 11979410
Abstract: Methods and systems provide for multi-factor authentication (MFA) of a user to a device or network in which a criteria for maintaining the authentication is based on the presence of the user before a device. After the user is authenticated and provided with access, a continuity criteria (i.e., a measure of the presence of the user before the device) must be fulfilled for that access to be maintained. When it is determined that the continuity requirement is not fulfilled, an aspect of the access is denied. A continuity criteria may be based on the location of a second computing device with respect to a first computing device. And multiple methods of determining continuity may be employed simultaneously, with access being denied when continuity is fulfilled by none of the methods.

  • Patent number: 11976468
Abstract: The top surface of an insert abuts with a form, with a tube extending into an aperture and sliding on a form post in the form. A rod inserted through the form, form post and tube holds the insert in place while castable material is poured in. The form is inverted with the guard rail base inside, the rod can be slid out of the form, and the form is removed. The handle is gripped by a claw on the obtuse angled chassis of a transporter. A handle on the chassis can be pushed to raise the guard rail base and to move the guard rail base on the surface by wheels. The guard rail base can be placed upon a pad having notches in its border.

  • Publication number: 20240147594
Abstract: Timing adjustment for accurate zero-crossing determination includes obtaining time offset(s) representing amounts of time between (i) zero-crossings of an input signal waveform, representative of an input AC waveform, input to a zero-crossing detector circuit and (ii) corresponding transitions of an output signal from an output of the circuit to a microcontroller, and determining times of the zero-crossings of the input AC waveform, which includes determining times of the corresponding transitions as detected by the microcontroller and adjusting the determined times using the time offset(s) to produce the times of the zero-crossings of the input AC waveform. In another aspect, input AC frequency is determined by determining pulse width(s) of pulse(s) of the output signal, and adjusting a half-cycle time corresponding to the pulse width(s) using the time offset(s) to provide a duration of half-cycles of the input AC waveform and inform a frequency of the input AC waveform.

  • Publication number: 20240137391
Abstract: Methods and systems provide for augmenting images and displayed objects using extended reality (XR) images. Image data may be received that includes real-world image data displayed on a display of the client device, which is monitored by a guide software component, and XR images. A person may be identified from the real-world image data, and, in response to identifying the person, stored information may be retrieved from a record associated with the identified person in a database in communication with the client device. The guide software component may then modify the XR images in response to identifying the person to include the retrieved information associated with the identified person. Additional XR images may be used to provide informative content at spatial anchor locations within the real-world image data.
