  • Patent number: 8887149
Abstract: Systems, methods and computer program products for providing software product configuration management through a time shift responsive to software product installation content, user inputs, and software product applicability rules are disclosed. A configuration engines may be loaded on a computing device, which access installation product content related to the software product via one or more data stores. The configuration engine detects the initial configuration state of the software product and accepts a user input identifying a desired final configuration state of the software product. The configuration engine applies at least one applicability rule to determine whether the installation product content needs to be acquired from the data store to achieve the desired final configuration state.

  • Patent number: 8875635
Abstract: A method for delivering ballast to a section of railroad track includes measuring an existing ballast profile of a section of railroad track using a remote sensing system, and providing a signal indicative thereof to a first computer. Using the first computer, the existing ballast profile is compared with an ideal ballast profile to compute a track file representing a volume of additional ballast needed as a function of linear position along the section of railroad track, and data representing the track file is transmitted to a second computer of an automatic ballast dump train. Ballast is dumped along the section of railroad track according to the track file under control of the second computer.

  • Publication number: 20140235421
Abstract: A centrifuge device displays a workflow diagram during operation. The workflow diagram includes a loading step-indicator, a running step-indicator, and an unloading step-indicator. The loading step-indicator is displayed when the centrifuge device is operating in a loading mode. The running step-indicator is displayed when the centrifuge device is operating in a running mode. The unloading step-indicator is displayed when the centrifuge device is operating in the unloading mode. A centrifuge system includes the centrifuge device and a handheld device operable remote from the centrifuge device, which displays a status of the centrifuge device. Methods of operating a centrifuge device and a centrifuge system are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8777784
Abstract: A Soccer Goal Retainer includes a bar rotatably mounted in an enclosure. A clamp plate includes a lower member attachable to the bar. A vertical member extends at right angles from the lower member and an upper member extends from the vertical member generally at right angles. A lip extends generally at right angles from the upper member. With the vertical member generally positioned vertically, the lip, the upper member and vertical member are placed over the rear rail of a soccer goal and the clamp plate is secured to the bar. The clamp plate is released from the rear rail by loosening the clamp plate from the bar. The clamp plate and the bar are then rotated in a forward manner and downwardly into the enclosure. A cover is placed over the enclosure both when the clamp plate is in use and when it is being stored.

  • Publication number: 20140189375
Abstract: Technology is provided for distributed power delivery to a processing unit on a printed circuit board. In one example, a printed circuit board includes a processing unit coupled to multiple power channels, including first channels on a first side of the processing unit, and second channels on a second side of the processing unit. The printed circuit board further includes a first power supply coupled to the processing unit via the first channels, and a second power supply coupled to the processing unit via the second channels. The processing unit is configured to receive a total current, including currents drawn substantially simultaneously from the first power supply and the second power supply. The total current is about equivalent to a current the processing unit would draw from a single power supply.
