  • Publication number: 20120097730
Abstract: A nail-pushing rod restoring apparatus for a pneumatic nail gun includes a return air passage connected between a high-pressure main air chamber inside a gun body and a bottom cylinder chamber of a cylinder. A magnetic valve is disposed inside the gun body above the cylinder and located on the return air passage. An end of the magnetic valve is exposed inside a top cylinder chamber of the cylinder. The magnetic valve is lead by the piston to close the return air passage when the piston moves to the top of the cylinder. The magnetic valve is driven by the high-pressure air inside the top cylinder chamber to open the return air passage when the piston moves downward, so as to lead the high-pressure air inside the main air chamber to the bottom cylinder chamber to restore a nail-pushing rod after nail-pushing.

  • Patent number: 8146788
Abstract: A tool for driving fasteners includes a work contact element configured to move between a first position and a second position. The tool is prevented from driving fasteners when the work contact element is in the first position. The tool further includes an extension member rigidly connected to the work contact element in a releasable connection arrangement. The releasable connection arrangement is configured to maintain a rigid connection between the work contact element and the extension member during normal operation of the tool. The releasable connection arrangement is further configured to release the rigid connection between the work contact element and the extension member during high impact events that are not associated with normal operation of the tool.

  • Patent number: 8083116
Abstract: A braking and driving mechanism includes a guide plate, a driving rod, a magazine, and a pressing rod. The pressing rod consists of a bar shaped arm with its two opposite ends extending to respectively form a tongue portion and a pushing portion. A pivot portion is formed between the tongue portion and the pushing portion. The pressing rod is pivotably disposed in the magazine via the pivot portion. An elastic member for driving the arm to transversely press a main body of each of the nails is disposed on the pushing portion. If the number of remaining nails in the magazine is equal to a default number the elastic member drives the tongue portion to move to a position where the tongue portion can block the stopping portion such that the movement of the driving rod is braked.

  • Patent number: 8061437
Abstract: A nail gun with a rapidly attachable and detachable magazine assembly includes a nail gun, a magazine assembly and a quick joining mechanism. A handle portion of the nail gun has a quick joining pillar adapted to engage with the quick joining mechanism to attach the magazine assembly to the nail gun. By simply snap-fitting the quick joining pillar into a fixing element of the quick joining mechanism, the quick joining mechanism can naturally fix the quick joining pillar into the fixing element, and thus, the magazine assembly can be attached to the nail gun by simply a single action. Moreover, by pulling a pull rod of the quick joining mechanism and withdrawing the quick joining pillar from within the fixing element, the magazine assembly can be attached from the nail gun by also simply a single action.
