  • Publication number: 20100019015
Abstract: A bushing for conducting air in a nail gun is arranged between an air chamber and a cylinder received in a housing of the nail gun. The bushing is adjacent to a bottom of a main valve for driving hitting motion of the nail gun. A number of main valve holes that are adjacent to the main valve are formed in a sidewall of the cylinder. At least one air inlet is formed in a bottom of a sidewall of the cylinder. An air flow passage is defined in the housing and is in communication with the main valve and the air hole. A valve plug which is configured for opening or closing the air flow passage is received in the air flow passage. The valve plug divides the air flow passage into an upper portion and a lower portion. The lower portion is formed in the housing. An annular end surface is formed on a top of the bushing. The annular end surface defines a main air inlet for the main valve. An end portion extends from the bushing and having the upper portion of the air flow passage formed therein.

  • Publication number: 20100012698
Abstract: In a controlling mechanism for pneumatic nailer, the pneumatic nailer includes a leaf spring, a trigger, a trigger valve and a safety rod attached to a main body of the nailer. The control mechanism includes a control valve and the control valve includes a valve plug connected to the safety rod. The leaf spring is mounted between the trigger valve and the trigger for receiving actuation from the trigger, and one end of thereof being extended to a position for pushing the valve plug so that through pressing the trigger, the leaf spring is driven to push the valve plug and the safety rod to move downwardly, thereby controlling the pressurized air to drive the nail gun. As such, the valve plug can move in to a position that can to control the nail hitting action of the nail gun in advance so the stability of control increases.

  • Publication number: 20100006619
Abstract: A nail gun includes a fastener drive track capable of receiving fasteners having different length. A faster positioning assembly includes at least one swinging member and a stop portion. The swinging member is elastically and pivotably disposed at a side of the fastener drive track. The stop portion is formed at an end of the swinging member and received in the fastener drive track. The stop portion is configured for positioning fasteners prior to the fasteners are hit, and the stop portion retractably exits from the fastener drive track when a long fastener is received in the fastener drive track. The fastener positioning assembly enables the nail gun to drive fasteners having different length, as such, it is very convenient to use such nail gun to join different workpiece having different thickness on an object.

  • Patent number: 7556183
Abstract: A control device for hitting nails of a pneumatic nail gun includes a control valve. The control valve is arranged in a main air flow passage between a trigger of the nail gun and the main air valve. The control valve has valve cover to open or close the main air flow passage. A valve bolt is slidably disposed in the valve cover. The valve bolt can be driven by the high pressure air to move down. A safety slide pole is slidably disposed in a gun body for blocking or releasing the valve bolt to move down. Therefore, a position of the safety slide pole can reflect a height of a work part which to be nailed. The valve bolt can detect the height reflected by the safety slide pole to guide in the high pressure air from the main air flow passage to hit nails. Thus, the controlling stability is enhanced. The components are also simplified.
