  • Patent number: 4770105
Abstract: A piping travelling apparatus having a plurality of continuous treads driven by motors through transmission gearing. The continuous treads are mounted to a frame and spaced apart a predetermined distance peripherally of the inner wall surface of the piping. At least one of the continuous treads is kept in contact with the inner wall surface of the piping no matter what the posture of the apparatus may be, so that the apparatus can travel without any trouble even if its posture undergoes a change when it moves along elevations and depressions on the inner wall surface of the piping or negotiates the boundary between different levels of the inner wall surface or bends of the piping. The apparatus enables a travel through piping of relatively small diameter having vertical or steeply slanted pipes to be made without any trouble.

  • Patent number: 4621532
Abstract: A chain-like self-moving robot includes three or more capsule units connected to one another in a string by means of couplers. By expanding and contracting intercapsule spaces in a predetermined sequence so that a smaller number of the capsules are moved while a larger number of capsules remain stationary, the chain-like robot can move forwardly or backwardly.

  • Patent number: 4377794
Abstract: A CCD comb filter includes long and short CCD delay lines connected to receive a common input signal and is arranged to combine output signals of the long and short CCD delay lines. In order to realize a CCD comb filter very close to an optimum comb filter the product of the number of stages of the long CCD delay line and the transfer inefficiency of each stage thereof is set substantially equal to the product of the number of stages of the short CCD delay line and the transfer inefficiency of each stage thereof. In order that the transfer inefficiency of the short CCD delay line may be made greater to satisfy the above-mentioned requirement, transfer electrodes of the short CCD delay line are designed such that their length as viewed in charge transfer direction is made larger than the length of transfer electrodes of the long CCD delay line.

  • Patent number: 4322696
Abstract: A circuit for supplying weighting voltages to multipliers of a transversal filter comprises a plurality of electronic switches associated with the multipliers for switching magnitudes of the weighting voltages applied to the multipliers, and memory cells associated with the respective electronic switches for storing digital data to turn on or off the corresponding electronic switches. Those memory cells are sequentially addressed by address circuits to store data which define the magnitudes of the weighting voltages applied to the multipliers.

  • Patent number: 4278943
Abstract: An integration circuit comprises an operational amplifier with first and second input terminals and an output terminal, an integration capacitor connected between the first input terminal and the output terminal, an integration resistor connected at one end to the first input terminal, a switch connected at one end to the other end of said resistor, a voltage signal source to be integrated which is connected through the switch to the other end of the resistor, and a reference voltage signal source connected to the second input terminal. The integration circuit further comprises means which applies, at the same time as the switch is opened, a signal with the same potential as the signal derived from the reference voltage signal source to said other end of the resistor, thereby to prevent an output signal from being adversely affected by a parasitic capacitance of the switch.

  • Patent number: 4267517
Abstract: An operational amplifier is provided with a differential amplifier constructed by MOS transistors and a linear amplifier constructed by MOS transistors and coupled with the differential amplifier. The differential amplifier is supplied with first and second inputs. The output of the operational amplifier is derived from the output of the linear amplifier. A stabilizing circuit, which is coupled with the differential and linear amplifiers, stabilizes the output of the operational amplifier against a variation of the input DC levels to the differential amplifier.
