    Abstract: A mounting system for mounting a loudspeaker to a substrate includes a mounting assembly having an elongated screw, a support member received on and movable along the screw, and a mounting arm rotatably connected to the support member and having a resting position and a working position. A guide housing receives the mounting assembly with the screw extending longitudinally therethrough and includes a wall structure with an open front side and a cap at a top portion of the wall structure. In the resting position, the support member is positioned along the screw at least partially received within the cap and the mounting arm is substantially contained within the wall structure. In the working position, the support member is positioned along the screw to be outside of the cap and the mounting arm is spring-biased away from the screw and extends outwardly through the front side of the wall structure.

    Abstract: Method for quantitative flow analysis of a tree of conduits perfusing an organ from at least two bi-dimensional images, the method comprising the following steps: a) making a 3D reconstruction of at least part of the tree from said at least two bi-dimensional images; b) identifying a segment of interest within the 3D reconstruction either automatically or semi-automatically upon user input; c) making calculations based on the 3D reconstruction to determine geometrical features of the conduits such as diameters, lengths, curvatures, centrelines or the like; d) receiving indication from the user to input a multi-scale functional model of the tree to be considered for the flow analysis and to input the location of the segment of interest within such model; e) adjusting the part of the functional model related to the segment of interest using geometrical features of the 3D reconstruction; f) performing quantitative flow analysis based on the functional model so obtained.

    Abstract: An anti-theft device for securing an article of merchandise against unauthorized removal from a display counter. The anti-theft device comprises a latch plate and a pedestal having a quick-release interface. The latch plate is configured to selectively couple to the quick-release interface. A latch bolt is disposed within the pedestal. The latch bolt locks the latch plate relative to the quick-release interface. A plurality of retaining arms is configured to receive and retain an article of merchandise. The retaining arms cannot be disengaged from the article of merchandise while the latch plate is locked relative to the quick-release interface. A solenoid is housed within the pedestal and operationally connected to the latch bolt. The solenoid is configured to retract the latch bolt into a position in which the latch bolt disengages the latch plate, thereby releasing the latch plate from the quick-release interface.

    Abstract: A tool interchange for a submersible remote operated vehicle (ROV) arm includes a first interchange body that affixes to an ROV arm. A second interchange body is carried by the first interchange body to rotate on a rotation axis. The second interchange body includes a tool mount actuable between gripping an ROV tool to the second interchange body and releasing the ROV tool from the second interchange body. An inductive power coupling part is provided in the tool mount. The inductive power coupling part is presented outwardly in the tool mount opposite the first interchange body, resides on the rotation axis and is fixed with respect to the first interchange body while the second interchange body rotates. The inductive power coupling part is adapted to inductively communicate power with a corresponding inductor power coupling part of the ROV tool when the ROV tool is docked in the tool mount.

A corresponding system and computer program are also disclosed. The method and systems can be controlled by one or more computer systems configured with specific executable instructions.

    Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for providing secondary air to an exhaust system during catalyst warm-up. In one example, a method may include, during a cold start condition, operating an engine with a first number of cylinders unfired and a remaining number of cylinders fired during an engine cycle, opening an intake valve of an unfired cylinder of the first number of cylinders during an expansion stroke of the unfired cylinder, and opening an exhaust valve of the unfired cylinder during a compression stroke of the unfired cylinder. In this way, the unfired cylinders may provide the secondary air to the exhaust system during a stroke that increases mixing of the secondary air with burned exhaust gas from fired cylinders, thus increasing exotherm production in the exhaust system to increase a temperature of the catalyst.
