  • Patent number: 9279424
Abstract: The invention concerns a vane cell machine with a stator and a rotor having radially displaceable vanes arranged in guides, said vanes bearing on an inside of the stator and bordering, together with the rotor, the stator and a side wall, work chambers at each axial end of the rotor. It is endeavored to provide a vane cell machine that has a good internal tightness, in which the wear is still kept small. For this purpose, in a radially internal area the side wall comprises an insert that is axially movable in the side wall and has a pressure application surface axially inside and axially outside.

  • Publication number: 20150085613
Abstract: A system for measuring the position of a rod element as, for example, a hydraulically or pneumatically operated piston rod. Unlike the prior art, the system according to the present invention employs a measuring principle that does not require preparatory treatment of the rod element as is required in the known solutions. The system employs direct time of flight measurements with the aid of acoustic surface waves that are introduced into the rod element. The instrument is retrofittable on existing cylinders without any modification/ reconstruction thereof An EMAT principle is employed to introduce the surface waves into the measurement in a non-contact manner.

  • Patent number: 8951027
Abstract: The invention concerns a vane cell machine having a stator and a rotor that is made of a first material, the rotor having guides comprising radially displaceable vanes that rest on an inside of the stator and border work chambers at each axial end of the rotor together with the rotor, the stator and individual stationary side walls, the vanes having, at least at some contact faces with the rotor and the stator, a second material that interacts unfrictionally with the first material. It is endeavoured to keep the wear small. For this purpose, in a radially inner area, the side wall comprises a surface of a third material interacting unfrictionally with the first material and, in a radially outer area a surface made of the first material.

  • Patent number: 8845298
Abstract: Driving arrangement (11) for a pump, compressor or similar, adapted to provide alternating pressure in at least two chambers (27a, 27b, 27?, 27?), such as chambers of a pump or compressor, as result of a reciprocating movement of a bar element (23). The bar element is connected to two movable pressure chamber faces being pistons (21a, 21 b) or plungers having fluid connection to said chambers, which bar element (23) is reciprocally supported in a housing (19). The driving arrangement further comprises an electric motor (31) which is adapted to provide the reciprocating movement of the bar element (23). The bar element extends through the rotor (31b) of the electric motor (31). The electric motor is an electric rotary motor. The invention also relates to a pump assembly with a plurality of such driving arrangements.

  • Publication number: 20140174187
Abstract: The present invention relates to system for measuring pressure and temperature based on change in the characteristic properties of a medium for ultrasound under the effect of pressure and temperature. The invention is based on two waveguides where geometry is adapted to the medium's characteristic properties for ultrasound such that only planar pressure waves are generated in the waveguides. The first of the waveguides is arranged for measuring temperature due to thermal expansion of the medium, where the medium is pressure-compensated by means of an internal compensator to prevent thermal pressure accumulation, and where measuring temperature is based on the medium's specific known characteristic data for ultrasound under the effect of temperature under constant pressure.
