  • Patent number: 11643339
Abstract: A method and enhancements for the decontamination of water containing one or more PFAS contaminants includes introducing a foaming agent into the water, and injecting a gas through a diffuser and into the water so as to form a plurality of bubbles in the water, the one or more PFAS contaminants accumulating on the plurality of bubbles. The plurality of bubbles is allowed to rise, forming a foam at the surface of the water. The resulting foam is then collected and transported away from the surface of the water, where it condenses into a liquid and is treated to regulatory standards.

  • Patent number: 11513798
Abstract: A system and method are provided for simplifying load acquire and store release semantics that are used in reduced instruction set computing (RISC). Translating the semantics into micro-operations, or low-level instructions used to implement complex machine instructions, can avoid having to implement complicated new memory operations. Using one or more data memory barrier operations in conjunction with load and store operations can provide sufficient ordering as a data memory barrier ensures that prior instructions are performed and completed before subsequent instructions are executed.

  • Publication number: 20220372810
Abstract: A vehicle safety device that prevents the activation of automatic or power switches in a vehicle. The vehicle safety device may have a protrusion that engages or obstructs the switch by filling the void adjacent the switch, the finger groove, thereby preventing access to the finger groove and/or not allowing the switch to be moved into an activation position. The protrusion may have a tab the further prevents the switch from moving from an inactivated state to an activated state. The protrusion is connected to an underside of a hard shell covering the entire switch area/panel, thereby preventing access to a plurality of switches and thus also preventing their inadvertent activation.

  • Patent number: 11369272
Abstract: An RF applicator has an open-ended waveguide having an aperture and a dielectric cone extending through the aperture and is electrically connected to an RF source that is configured to generate RF energy pulses. A top fin is mounted to an inner top surface of the waveguide and comprises a conductive material, is electrically connected to the RF source, and has dimensions configured to optimize a bandwidth that the RF applicator applies to tissue. A bottom fin is mounted to an inner bottom surface of the waveguide and comprises a conductive material electrically isolated from the RF source, with dimensions configured to optimize a bandwidth that the RF applicator applies to tissue. A dielectric cone is inserted into the waveguide. A filler material between inner surfaces of the waveguide and the solid dielectric cone can fill gaps and has a dielectric constant similar to the dielectric cone.
