Abstract: A receptacle connector includes an insulative housing with a mating tongue, a plurality of contacts having front contacting sections exposed upon two opposite surfaces of the mating tongue and rear tail sections extending downwardly outside of the housing for mounting to a printed circuit board. A metallic shield encloses said housing and forms a capsular mating cavity with said mating tongue extending forwardly therein. A metallic shielding plate includes a front horizontal section embedded with the mating tongue to isolate the contacting sections of the contacts which are located on two different opposite surfaces, and a rear vertical section extending downwardly from a rear edge of the front horizontal section to isolate the tail sections of the contacts which are arranged in two rows with said rear vertical section therebewteen.

The cable modem further retains the cable modem to work with the DOCSIS 3.0 standard upon the condition that the primary channel and the subsidiary channels are all locked or retains the cable modem to work with the DOCSIS 2.0 standard upon the condition that the MDD message is not received or the subsidiary channels are not successfully locked.

Abstract: A customer premises equipment (CPE) receives data packets from a network service device via a primary service flow. When the CPE detects flood of packets in the data packets received via the primary service flow, the CPE determines a source Internet protocol (IP) address of the flood of packets. The CPE establishes a new service flow with the network service device. A source IP address of the new service flow is set to the source IP address of the flood of packets, and a transfer speed of the new service flow is less than that of the primary service flow. The CPE transfers the flood of packets from the primary service flow to the new service flow.

The system drives the light emitters by supplying a constant current and a pulse width modulated current to an individual light emitter, the pulse width modulated current being determined in accordance with an optical output of the light emitter. Accordingly, the system can provide a desired amount of current to the light emitters, and individually control the optical output of the light emitters.
