  • Patent number: 11479453
Abstract: The present disclosure is a lift attachment apparatus for construction and farm equipment, including a loader. In an embodiment of the disclosure, lift apparatus may include a frame including an attachment device configured to attach to a tilting plane of a loader having a forward facing loader arm, a pair of wheels connected to the frame, a first wheel of the pair of wheels located on a first side of the frame and a second wheel of the pair of wheels located on a second side of the frame. The lift attachment apparatus may further include a boom or forks connected directly or indirectly to the frame, wherein control of the boom or forks is provided by application of force to the attachment device by the forward facing loader arm in a downward direction to create lift and rotation of the tilting plane causing rotation of an end of the boom or forks about the first wheel and the second wheel. The first wheel and second wheel being mechanically aligned to act as a stable fulcrum.

  • Patent number: 10309128
Abstract: Improvements to a changeable lock-cover are disclosed herein. The lock-cover operates with a combination or with a separate version/configuration for a key type lock. Minor geometry differences can be accommodated with the housing that can be made out of a hard plastic or a flexible material that conforms around the lock. The retention of the housing is with magnets, snaps or other temporary securing mechanism. A person can pull apart the closure to mover the cover to another lock or to change the cover to a different color or style. The face or indicia can take a number of different configurations including, but not limited to letters, colors, faces, insignias, moving components, lights, pictures and others. The mechanism that retains the cover together is stronger than the mechanism that holds to face or indicia onto the housing.

  • Publication number: 20160260519
Abstract: A mixture of poly(vinyl halide) and epoxidized benzyl fatty acid ester, preferably epoxidized benzyl soyate (EBS), is disclosed. The epoxidized benzyl fatty acid ester as a plasticizer replaces common high molecular weight phthalates, such as diisodecyl phthalate (DIDP), which are conventionally used for the manufacture of wire and cable insulation and jacketing. The epoxidized benzyl fatty acid ester, a bio-plasticizer, unexpectedly outperforms the higher molecular weight DIDP as demonstrated by superior retention of Strain at Break after accelerated aging at elevated temperatures.

  • Publication number: 20160068840
Abstract: The invention relates to a double-stranded ribonucleic acid (dsRNA) for inhibiting the expression of a SCAP gene (Human SCAP gene), comprising an antisense strand having a nucleotide sequence which is less that 30 nucleotides in length, generally 19-25 nucleotides in length, and which is substantially complementary to at least a part of a SCAP gene. The invention also relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising the dsRNA together with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier; methods for treating diseases caused by Human SCAP expression and the expression of a SCAP gene using the pharmaceutical composition; and methods for inhibiting the expression of a SCAP gene in a cell.

  • Publication number: 20150260247
Abstract: A braking system includes a brake charge module, an accumulator, and a pressure sensor coupled to the accumulator. The braking system further includes a brake actuator to selectively actuate a brake member based on a fluid pressure inside the brake actuator. The braking system further includes a brake valve disposed between the brake actuator and the accumulator. The brake valve is configured to regulate a flow of the pressurized fluid between the accumulator and the brake actuator. The braking system further includes a controller coupled to the pressure sensor and the brake valve. The controller is configured to determine a low-energy state of the accumulator based on the signal from the pressure sensor and maintain at least a pre-determined threshold value of fluid pressure within the brake actuator to retain the brake member at a touch up position with respect to a rotating member.
