  • Publication number: 20190365313
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for prompting a patient to take a blood glucose management action. A diabetes management application on a mobile device can receive diabetes-related information from the mobile device. The diabetes management application can identify a blood glucose management action prompt based on a comparison of the received diabetes-related information to one or more predetermined prompt criteria. The diabetes management application can generate a blood glucose management action prompt based on the blood glucose management action prompt condition. The diabetes management application can present the blood glucose management action prompt to the patient on a user interface of the mobile device.

  • Publication number: 20190168901
Abstract: A hopper system for powder material includes a hopper and a cover. The hopper has hopper sidewalls that extend downward from an upper end of the hopper with at least one of the hopper sidewalls being sloped along a portion thereof. A hopper axis extends vertically between at least some of the hopper sidewalls. The cover is disposed at the upper end of the hopper and includes an opening configured for the powder material to flow therethrough and into the hopper. The opening defines a vertical material loading axis that is offset relative to the hopper axis. A diverter member may be provided that is positioned along the material loading axis and configured to divert the powder material entering through the opening. A powder material feed system may be disposed adjacent the lower end of the hopper to feed the powder material from the hopper.

  • Publication number: 20190150817
Abstract: The biological test kit is a device for drawing and, optionally, testing biological samples. The biological test kit is an array of lancets set in wells in a rigid base. Each lancet well is covered by a protective cover which when deformed permits the lancet to puncture a user or other patient. In one embodiment the biological test kit employs distinct covers for each lancet and in another the covers are formed from sheet material formed into blisters which cover the lancet.

  • Patent number: 10285334
Abstract: A foldable tarp apparatus with enhanced strength to collect trimmed leaves and branches of a plant for a disposal is provided. The tarp apparatus includes a foldable circular sheet having a central opening and an outer edge, the circular sheet having a slit extending from an edge of the central opening to the outer edge of the circular sheet, and a plurality of spine members coupled to the circular sheet, each spine member extending radially on the circular sheet and positioned equidistant from adjacent spine members. The central opening of the circular sheet receives the base of the plant therethrough to secure the circular sheet on the ground area surrounding the plant, thereby permitting the circular sheet to collect the trimmed leaves and branches of the plant.

  • Publication number: 20180141076
Abstract: A material supply assembly includes a valve assembly having an outer valve member and an inner valve member rotatable relative to the outer valve member. A base assembly includes an base structure and an actuator. An engagement structure is operative between the outer valve member and the actuator to prevent relative movement between the outer valve member and the actuator. A locking structure is operative between the inner valve member and the base structure to prevent relative movement between the inner valve member and the base structure. Movement of the actuator relative to the base structure moves the outer valve member relative to the inner valve member to operate the valve assembly.

  • Publication number: 20180035936
Abstract: This disclosure provides equipment and processes for blood glucose management. Embodiments may comprise a lancet device that includes a base that supports a lancet and a cover. The cover can move controllably from an un-depressed position to a depressed position when a predetermined force is applied. The cover can provide access to the lancet in the depressed position. In another aspect, a biological test kit may include a reusable module and a disposable module. The disposable module may include one or more lancet devices such as that described above to collect a biological sample, one or more strip stations supporting biological strips and a disposable module connector. The reusable module may support measuring equipment to measure a property of the biological sample and a reusable module connector that engages removably with the disposable module connector.

  • Patent number: 9716774
Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium for method for syncing a user interface on a server device to a user interface on a client device are disclosed. The method includes broadcasting a signal from a server device to a client device when the server device presents an active user input interface on a display screen, wherein the active user input interface illustrates input from a user via a remote control that is separate from the client device, wherein the remote control requires multiple steps for inputting a character. The method next includes establishing a connection between the server device and the client device if certain pre-defined criteria are met. Next the method includes transmitting parameters for displaying a client user input interface on the connected client device that is associated with the active user input interface, including loading existing data in an input field of the active user input interface into a client input field on the client device.

  • Publication number: 20170044749
Abstract: A system for ventilating a toilet having a cistern and a bowl includes a valve located between the cistern and the bowl. The valve includes a housing having a top surface, a bottom surface, a through-passage extending from the top surface to the bottom surface, and a ventilation passage provided at an angle with respect to the through-passage. The through-passage is located at an interior of the housing and is in fluid communication with the bowl. The ventilation passage has an inlet at the interior of the housing and an outlet at an exterior of the housing. A vacuum source is connected to the outlet of the ventilation passage and configured to establish a negative pressure in the ventilation passage to draw air from the bowl through the through-passage, and to exhaust the air to a remote location. The housing, through-passage, and ventilation passage are integrally formed.

  • Publication number: 20170036100
Abstract: A Prohibition era game apparatus disclosed, with a plurality of indicia properties, and speakeasies on the paths of the board. A player buys properties and receives a trespass fee if someone trespasses, or become a Bootlegger and places a still on said properties receiving substantially more in trespass fees. Bootleggers can purchase whiskey barrels from Whiskey for Sale spaces on the paths and Bootleg the Moonshine to speakeasies as the GGG-Man pursues them. The GGG-Man randomly moves around the paths of the board to arrest Bootleggers. An honest player receive rewards, a Bootlegger is faced with jail. To receive the maximum trespassing fee a player must operate a still simultaneously on one of the two main properties, Mr. Big or JB's Place and on the other properties he owns, without getting caught. The last player left that owns Mr. Big or JB's Place and dominates the board, wins.
