  • Publication number: 20150291188
Abstract: An infill balise is arranged upstream of a route component in the direction of travel. The infill balise receives information relating to a state of the route component, and the control of a rail vehicle is carried out by taking into account the state of the route component. Since the infill balise is positioned ahead of the route component, the rail vehicle can still react in good time to the state of the route component and, initiate a braking or an acceleration process. This reduces the delay and increases the safety as well as the efficiency in the railway mode, in particular if the route component lying ahead is located at the start of an area which is controlled by another interlock box. The infill balise is used instead of a block interface. This is advantageous because the implementation of block interfaces is challenging, complicated and costly.

  • Publication number: 20150225003
Abstract: An infill balise is provided for making available a state of a route component (for example of a signal) which lies ahead in the direction of travel of a rail line. Depending on a state of the route component, the infill balise brings about a change of the European train control system (ETCS) mode of a rail vehicle if the rail vehicle is in a manual travel mode or is not in a monitored travel mode. The presented solution has the advantage that the infill balise can ensure safety even in a manual ETCS mode (for example a staff responsible mode or an on-site mode). The solution can preferably be used in conjunction with ETCS level 1 applications.

  • Patent number: 9052118
Abstract: An oven rack system has a two piece oven rack (100) with a cooking rack (102) and a base rack (104). The base rack (104) is adapted to remain stationary and may be positioned on ledges or other protrusions associated with inner liners of oven cavities. In one embodiment, a pair of angled pieces (118) extend between outer lateral braces (114) and a rear brace (106). The cooking rack (102) is adapted to slide on and be extendable relative to the base rack (104). A user can exert manual forces on the cooking rack (102) so as to move the cooking rack (102) relative to the base rack (104). The movement occurs in the absence of the requirement of any type of rotatable or rolling elements.

  • Publication number: 20140332545
Abstract: A tipping method for a tipping arrangement which includes a first element (1) and a second element (2), arranged between a moveable base unit (4) and a rotatable container (3). The container (3) is rotated by moving the second element (2) along a first track (7) on the first element (1). The second element (2) is moved along the track (7) by rotating the second element (2) relative to the first element (1). A number of engaging parts (9, 10) may be arranged on the tracks (7, 8) of the elements (1, 2), respectively. An interlocking arrangement may be arranged between the first element (1) and the second element (2) to secure the second element (2) in a starting position. A movable unit includes the tipping arrangement and a section unit, with the container (3) locked in a vertical position by a locking arrangement.

  • Patent number: 8657801
Abstract: The invention provides a switching device for an irrigation system. The switching device provides selective communication between a supply port to which a supply of fluid under pressure can be attached and a balloon port to which a fixing balloon of a catheter can be attached, and between the supply port and a port to which a liquid reservoir can be attached. By use of a selection handle, the user can deform conduits in a pre-determined sequence and thus control an irrigation procedure by opening and closing fluid flow in various conduits. The invention further provides an irrigation device incorporating the switching device and a method of controlling a fluid flow e.g. in an irrigation system.
