  • Patent number: 10210144
Abstract: Methods and systems for creating a webpage having different element orders for different webpage widths are disclosed. A computing device receives inputs specifying different layouts of elements in different orders for different webpage widths. The computing device creates markup code for the webpage that specifies separate subtrees of nodes for the different layouts and then modifies the markup code to replace duplicate nodes with placeholders in the subtrees. The computing device also creates script code for the webpage with instructions for modifying a live DOM created from the markup code based on current webpage width. Specifically, the script code modifies the live DOM to specify positioning the elements differently for different webpage widths by changing the visibility of nodes and swapping placehoders and content nodes in the subtrees.

  • Publication number: 20180298197
Abstract: A method of treating particulate titanium dioxide includes providing the particulate titanium dioxide which includes a crystal structure and then treating the particulate titanium dioxide with a coating agent that is an alkylphosphonic acid or an ester thereof, and steam micronizing the particulate titanium dioxide with a steam micronizer so that a vapor exit temperature from the steam micronizer is 150° C. or higher, so as to obtain a micronized particulate titanium dioxide which includes the coating agent at an outer surface. The particulate titanium dioxide includes an aluminum oxide coating and/or includes within the crystal structure aluminum oxide in a molar excess of an amount required to compensate any Nb2O5 in the crystal structure. The alkylphosphonic acid includes a C6-C22 alkyl group.

  • Patent number: 9083144
Abstract: An adjustable array includes a plurality of optical devices. Each adjustable array device has an optical light output therefrom and is configured whereby the corresponding optical lights of the plurality of optical devices have a predefined nonequivalent relationship relative to one another with respect to an output parameter. In response to a drive signal, the plurality of optical devices are further configured to adjust the corresponding optical lights with respect to the output parameter while substantially maintaining the predefined nonequivalent relationship.

  • Patent number: 9006591
Abstract: An appliance control knob assembly includes an encoder with a rotatable shaft. A control knob is connected to the shaft and is mounted on a protuberance that extends into the control knob and provides a bearing mounting surface. The control knob has a hub portion rotationally supported by a bearing mounted within the protuberance, and which engages the rotatable encoder shaft. The encoder is mounted such that prior to attachment of the hub portion with the encoder shaft, the encoder is allowed a degree of movement to come into alignment with the hub portion.

  • Publication number: 20140116929
Abstract: A water filtering system having its components contained within a single housing. The filter system uses a first filter pair of filters which can be first manually isolated from the water flow; and a second pair of filters which can also be manually isolated from the water flow. The two pairs of filters operate in parallel, thereby allowing one pair to be isolated for cleaning/repair without having to curtail operation since the other pair of filters remain operational.
