  • Patent number: 5127440
Abstract: A valve block assembly for an anti-lock assembly for anti-lock system for automotive vehicles. The assembly comprises a valve-receiving member (1) and a cover (2). The cover is made of plastics into which conducting paths are injection-molded. The conducting paths are part of a stamping (13). When the cover (2) is mounted on the valve-receiving member (1), all contacts are established between the pins (18) of the coils of the solenoid valves (19), on the one hand, and the erected ends (15) of the stamping (13), on the other hand. The instant invention accomplishes considerable simplification of the assembly.

  • Patent number: 5098173
Abstract: The pressure in the wheel brake of the system is controlled by an inlet valve 15 and an outlet valve 17 activated in response to the system controls. Fluid pressure from the pumps 13, is supplied to the wheel brake through the inlet valve 15, and discharged from the wheel brake through the outlet valve 17. By inserting a differential pressure limiter valve ahead of the inlet valve 15, the noise generated by the inlet valve is substantially reduced. A valve body 45 carries both the limiter valve seat and a discharge check valve seat, and respective closure balls 61, 62.

  • Patent number: 5078458
Abstract: Disclosed is an anti-lock brake system of the type wherein the pressure applied on the wheel brakes can be decreased by discharging pressure fluid by way of a return line wherein the brake system includes a pump whose suction chamber communicates through a suction line with a reservoir and a return line is connected to the suction chamber.

  • Patent number: 5044702
Abstract: A brake system providing traction slip of the controlled driven wheels. The rotating pattern of the driven wheels is permanently monitored by sensors (S1, S3 and S2, S4, respectively). In the event that one of the driven wheels tends to spin, the system switches to the traction slip mode so that a drive M of two pumps (21, 26) is actuated and an ASR valve (80) reswitched causing the air pressure to be applied to the booster chamber of the servo system (3) and the master cylinder to be actuated independently of the pedal actuation. During the start-up phase of the pumps (21, 26) pressure fluid is passed from the master brake cylinder to the driven wheels enabling a fast and effective pressure build-up in the wheel brakes of the driven wheels to effectively prevent the wheels from spinning. The master cylinder (2) therefore provides the function of an accumulator.

  • Patent number: 4964681
Abstract: An anti-lock hydraulic brake system comprising a separating valve (14) and a regulating valve (19). A combined arrangement is provided wherein the valves are connected into each other. The movability (play s) of the piston (30) affords the event that a compensating volume for the control action in the event that the output of the pump is insufficient in specific situations requiring a large amount of fluid for control.
