Patent number: 7870549Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, providing and using composite extension definitions. A composite extension definition has one or more extension definitions, each of which can be either an atomic or a non-atomic extension definition. In one aspect, a program has instructions to create a composite extension definition, to generate composite metadata that represents the composite extension definition, and to store the composite metadata for later use. The program can include instructions to receive input specifying dependency relationships between or among extensions defined by the extension definitions and to include the relationships in the composite metadata. Composite extension definitions can be created by an application developer for use by customers to guide them in implementing and deploying extensions to a computer program application.Type: GrantFiled: June 5, 2007Date of Patent: January 11, 2011Assignee: SAP AGInventors: Michael Acker, Georg Wilhelm, Juergen Remmel, Rainer Dattke, Sigrun Wintzheimer, Steffi Kramer

Patent number: 7606820Abstract: The description includes methods and apparatus, including computer program products, for detecting and handling changes to back-end systems. Configuration data for a pattern is received. The pattern includes a predefined arrangement of user interface elements and specifies predefined actions that can be performed using the user interface elements. The configuration data includes a first version identification and specifies associations between one or more of the user interface elements and one or more entities in a back-end system. The back-end system is accessed and a second version identification is obtained. If the first version identification does not match the second version identification, the configuration data is modified based on information about the back-end system.Type: GrantFiled: May 11, 2004Date of Patent: October 20, 2009Assignee: SAP AGInventors: Frank Stienhans, Thomas Fiedler, Jutta Bindewald, Georg Wilhelm, Martin Hartig, Felix Wente, Reiner P. Publication number: 20090107000Abstract: The invention relates to a method and to a device for freeze-drying products using a chamber (1) having surfaces (2), whose temperature can be regulated, and condensation surfaces (5). Water penetrating from the product in the form of vapour condenses on the surface of the condensation surfaces, and measurements are taken on the documentation of the process during the freeze-drying process. The aim of the invention is to improve the freeze-drying process in relation to the documentation thereof and, at the same time, to reduce technical complexity of the device which is suitable for carrying out said method. As a result, running of the vapour flow is determined between the product and the condensation surfaces (5) and the amount of water penetrating from the product in the form of vapour is calculated by means of temporal integration.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 1, 2005Publication date: April 30, 2009Inventor: Georg-Wilhelm Oetjen

Publication number: 20090110902Abstract: A method of producing a sound insulation molding with mass and spring, wherein both mass and spring are produced on the basis of the same material, in particular polyurethane. For the formation of a mass, reaction substances and fillers are brought into a mold, in particular sprayed in or injected, and brought to reaction. The spraying in or injection is thereby controlled such that the reaction substances and the fillers are supplied in locally different quantity and/or composition into the mold, dependent upon the sound damping to be locally achieved together with the spring, which is then formed on the so-formed mass in the same mold through formation of foam. Through this, with surfaces to be sound insulated which are of the same geometry, three-dimensional moldings of the same geometry can be produced with both different acoustic and also mechanical behavior in predetermined series.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 9, 2005Publication date: April 30, 2009Applicant: STANKIEWICZ GMBHInventors: Thomas Freser-Wolzenburg, Eberhard Puschmann, Georg-Wilhelm Prahst, Maik Grossmann

Patent number: 6176121Abstract: A method for determining the residual moisture content during secondary drying in the dry product of a freeze-drying process is disclosed. In order to determine the residual moisture content without interruption of the drying process is suggested that the desorption rate is measured at certain intervals (for example 10 minutes) during the secondary drying phase. A computer calculates from two or several of these measured values the time at which a desorption rate would be reached (desorption rate zero point) which would alter the desired residual moisture by only a tolerably small amount. The respective residual moisture is determined by the computer by chronological integration of desorption rates from zero point until the moment of measurement taking.Type: GrantFiled: August 4, 1997Date of Patent: January 23, 2001Inventor: Georg-Wilhelm Oetjen
