In addition, the pulsation effects may be reduced or prevented by controlled adaptation of the rotor rotational speed, by suitable selection of a conveying end position during metering of the pumping medium, or by establishing particular invariable conveying end positions. The use of a peristaltic pump (1) of this type for metering is further proposed.
