  • Publication number: 20170028872
Abstract: Provided is an electric vehicle, including: left and right rear wheels, which are suspended from a vehicle body by suspensions that elastically allow displacements in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle with respect to the vehicle body, the rear wheels being capable of being driven by corresponding motors independently of each other; and a control device configured to control driving forces of the rear wheels. Target driving forces Ti for the left and right rear wheels are calculated during traveling, a value ?G relevant to a difference between relative displacement amounts of the rear wheels in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle with respect to the vehicle body is calculated, and the target driving forces are corrected based on the value relevant to the difference between the relative displacement amounts so that a magnitude of the value relevant to the difference between the relative displacement amounts becomes smaller.

  • Publication number: 20170028983
Abstract: An electric vehicle includes electric motors imparting driving forces to the corresponding driving wheels, a brake device imparting braking forces to the driving wheels, a control unit which calculates final target braking-driving forces (Tti) of the driving wheels and controls the electric motors and the brake device so that braking-driving forces of the driving wheels conform to the corresponding final target braking-driving forces. The control unit calculates longitudinal speeds (?Vi) of the wheels relative to a vehicle body; calculates target correction amounts (Tt2i) of the target braking-driving forces for reducing in magnitude longitudinal speeds of the driving wheels relative to the vehicle body based on the relative longitudinal speeds; and corrects the target braking-driving forces (Tt1i) with the target correction amounts (Tt2i) to calculate final target braking-driving forces (Tti) of the driving wheels.

  • Publication number: 20170015213
Abstract: A motor drive control device is capable of reducing gear rattling noise generated in a speed reducer without increasing size of the speed reducer and the number of components. A motor ECU controls a motor to generate a reverse set torque (Tn) when a target torque (T*) is reversed (at a time t1). The motor ECU sequentially calculates a backlash (B) in a counter gear mechanism, and sets a time period (D1) in which the reverse set torque (Tn) is generated by the motor and a time period (D2) in which a return set torque (Tp) is generated by the motor so that the backlash (B) at a current time becomes equal to a time integrated value (corresponding to an area A) of an estimated relative velocity (V2?V1) until a time of reabutment.

  • Publication number: 20160332625
Abstract: A suspension characteristic is changed depending on a travel state by a simple structure. An ECU uses a vehicle speed-spring constant setting part to calculate a target spring constant depending on a vehicle speed, and uses a spring constant-frequency setting part to calculate a set frequency corresponding to the target spring constant. An oscillation input calculation part generates a signal representing an oscillation input oscillating at the set frequency. A superimposition part sets a value acquired by superimposing the oscillation input on a target driving force to a new target driving force. As a result, the wheel exhibits a minute oscillation in a longitudinal direction, resulting in an input of the minute oscillation to a suspension bush. The suspension bush changes in a spring constant and a damping coefficient depending on the frequency of the input minute oscillation. As a result, the suspension characteristic can be changed.

  • Publication number: 20160288563
Abstract: In a disk wheel, a metal insert member is embedded in a resinous bolt-fastening part having a bolt hole. The insert member includes: an opposing surface which is opposed to a resin member of the bolt-fastening part; a bonding area a bonded to the resin member within the opposing surface; and a non-bonding area within the opposing surface. The non-bonding area is not bonded to the resin member, but extends from the bonding area so as to receive a load generated when the resin member deforms. It is thereby possible to provide a technique to effectively suppress the influence of residual stress remained after molding of the resin member of the bolt-fastening part, and to ensure the strength required for the bolt-fastening part.

  • Patent number: 9090232
Abstract: An ECU calculates the thermal margins of the in-wheel motors, on the basis of the thermal capacities of the in-wheel motors, the allowable limit temperatures, and the motor temperatures. Next, the ECU distributes the total requested torque between the requested torques for each wheel using the percentages of the thermal margins. The ECU controls the operation of an inverter such that the in-wheel motors generate the requested torques for the wheels. Thus, the four in-wheel motors generate uniform amounts of heat.
