  • Patent number: 5961910
Abstract: A moving mold 100 consisting of slidable housing molds 110 and 110 and retainer molds 120 and 120 and a fixed mold 200 pairing with the moving mold 100 are used to mold a housing 20 and retainers 30a and 30b in resin at the same time. When the fixed mold 200 and the moving mold 100 are opened, the housing molds 110 and 110 are opened and a space is formed between the housing 20 and the retainers 30a and 30b to be fitted to each other. The retainers 30a and 30b are pressed against the housing 20 with the retainers 30a and 30b held in the retainer molds 120 and 120 from both the left and right sides, whereby the housing 20 and the retainers 30a and 30b are assembled.

  • Patent number: 5915760
Abstract: A movable mold is movable toward and away from a fixed mold so as to close and open the mold. The fixed mold includes an intermediate plate facing a movable-side mold plate. This intermediate plate has a retainer-molding recess which cooperates with the movable-side mold plate to form a retainer-molding cavity, and a core pin, which cooperates with a housing-molding recess to form a housing-molding cavity, is mounted on the intermediate plate. A retainer, molded in the molding cavity, is moved downward by an ejector pin into a position where the retainer is disposed coaxial with a housing. Then, the two molds are again closed together, so that the housing and the retainer are connected together, and then this assembled product is taken out.

  • Patent number: 5894661
Abstract: When a stationary metallic mold and a movable metallic mold are closed, a housing is molded having a retainer insertion hole by the existence of a sliding mold. A retainer is also molded. First, when only the metallic mold is opened, the core pin is withdrawn, and the sliding mold is withdrawn in the longitudinal direction by the cam action of the angular pin, so that the molding portion is withdrawn from the retainer insertion hole. Successively, the sliding mold is relatively drawn out to the front of the advancing and withdrawing passage together with the stationary metallic mold, and the advancing and withdrawing passage becomes open. Next, an auxiliary sliding mold is advanced, and the retainer held by the auxiliary sliding mold is inserted into the retainer insertion hole and temporarily assembled to the housing. It is possible to insert the retainer straight into the retainer insertion hole. The finished product is protruded to the front of the movable metallic mold by the protruding pin.

  • Patent number: 5803760
Abstract: A grip shaft extends substantially longitudinally from the rear of a charge connector and a lever is mounted thereon. The connector is connected to a battery fixture by inserting it therein while holding the grip shaft. The lever moves the connector and fixture toward each other as it is pivoted against the shaft, thereby fully connecting the fixture and connector. Thus, the burden on the wrist of the operator during the connection is reduced, even if the battery fixture is horizontally mounted in a relatively low position.

  • Patent number: 5748179
Abstract: A liquid crystal display device is provided which reduces the resistance of input wires disposed between a flexible board and driving ICs mounted in a flip-chip style, and enhances resistance against electrocorrosion of input terminals thereof. The liquid crystal display device includes two transparent insulating substrates (SUB1, SUB2) confronting each other through a liquid crystal layer, plural liquid crystal driving circuits (ICs) mounted in a flip-chip style on a surface of one of the substrates located at the side of the liquid crystal layer, a flexible board (FPC) for inputting a signal to each of the liquid crystal driving circuits, and plural input wires (Td) provided on the surface of the one substrate at the side of the liquid crystal layer to connect output terminals of the flexible board to input terminals of the liquid crystal driving circuits.

  • Patent number: 5445907
Abstract: Notches are provided on the inside circumference surface of the annular post fittings of a battery terminal fit over a battery post. The sharp tips of these notches bite into the outside circumference surface of the battery post to prevent the battery terminal from rotating on the post.
