Publication number: 20150219214Abstract: While a vehicle is decelerating starting at a braking start time, start-off pre-shifting starts when speed falls to a predetermined speed. At a vehicle stoppage time, an idle stop permission flag is not set to on if start-off pre-shifting is incomplete, even if idle stop permission conditions have been met. The idle stop permission flag is set to on when start-off pre-shifting is completed, and an idle stop flag is set to on and the engine stopped when engine rotational speed falls below a set speed. The engine is restarted in response to braking being released, and the idle stop flag is set to off and the idle stop control ended when the engine rotational speed reaches or exceeds a set speed. The restarting of the engine causes an engine-driven oil pump to dispense oil to be used as a medium to manifest an automatic clutch command hydraulic pressure.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 19, 2013Publication date: August 6, 2015Inventors: Yoshinobu Kawamoto, Hiroyuki Takenaka

Publication number: 20140200113Abstract: Under a specified condition where a torque converter is kept in a lockup state to prolong the fuel-cutoff time, because of vehicle coasting with an accelerator opening APO=0, a downshift command is generated and then an automatic transmission causes a reengagement downshift by a drop in a release-side clutch hydraulic pressure Poff and a rise in an engagement-side clutch hydraulic pressure Pon. During the reengagement downshift, the engagement-side clutch hydraulic pressure Pon is reduced from a high lockup-ON hydraulic pressure to a low lockup-OFF hydraulic pressure after the time when the lockup is predicted to be released, thus preventing a torque drawing-in tendency of transmission output torque, which may occur at the time of the beginning of the inertia phase, from increasing, and also reducing in the width of a subsequent change in vehicle deceleration G, and consequently enhancing the shift quality.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 13, 2012Publication date: July 17, 2014Inventors: Yoshinobu Kawamoto, Hiroyuki Takenaka, Go Endo

Patent number: 7339862Abstract: A novel optical disc driving system and method for determining the rotation speed of an optical disc are provided, which allow to determine the highest rotation speed optimal for reading out audio and video data in the optical disc in accordance with the environmental conditions in the vicinity of the optical disc driving unit, in particular the time and temperature. The rotation speed is determined by reading out the data recorded in the optical disc under the permissible operation conditions, which result from both actually measured parameters for environmental conditions and predetermined upper and lower limits of the rotation speed for a disc spindle motor for the respective ranges of parameters. The parameters for environmental conditions and the upper and lower limits of the rotation speed can be manually changed by user's instruction.Type: GrantFiled: September 27, 2004Date of Patent: March 4, 2008Assignee: Funai Electric Co., Ltd.Inventor: Hiroyuki Takenaka

Patent number: 7264574Abstract: A torque converter lockup capacity control device is configured to conduct coast-time lockup control during coast-running in order to prevent engine stall, shock from occurring in the output shaft of a transmission due to lockup when a driver releases an acceleration pedal and the running condition switches from a drive running condition to a coast-running condition. Torque converter lockup occurs because the engine output torque drops from a time on when the throttle opening degree becomes zero. Thus, during a period from the time on until fuel cut-in at time, the lockup capacity is lowered to a minimum capacity corresponding to a standby pressure and lockup is avoided. The lockup capacity is raised to a larger value from the predetermined time on, and ordinary coast-time lockup control is executed.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 2005Date of Patent: September 4, 2007Assignees: Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., JATCO LtdInventors: Yuzuru Tohta, Hiroyuki Takenaka, Kenichiro Murakami, Osamu Sato

Publication number: 20070134844Abstract: The invention relates to a process for producing a semiconductor device in which a circuit substrate and a semiconductor chip are connected through a plurality of solder bump electrodes, said process comprising applying a non-cleaning type flux to at least a portion of a bonding pad in the circuit substrate and a semiconductor chip; applying an under-fill material to the circuit substrate or the semiconductor chip; positioning the semiconductor chip and the circuit substrate; and bonding the semiconductor chip and the circuit substrate through a thermocompression bonding, and a semiconductor device produced by the process. By using the process, since it is not necessary to add a flux component deteriorating the reliability of an under-fill material as the sealant to the under-fill material, reliability of the semiconductor device is not deteriorated. Further, since the intrusion step of thin film is not used, mounting can be conducted in a relatively short time.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 12, 2006Publication date: June 14, 2007Inventors: Kaoru Katoh, Masatoshi Asano, Hiroyuki Takenaka, Kazuaki Sumita
