  • Publication number: 20020184985
Abstract: This invention relates to a rotary cutoff apparatus, which permits easy speed control without needing high-level skill or technique and also allows ready replacement of its anvil member. The apparatus is provided with a knife cylinder, which has a knife arranged on its outer circumferential surface and is rotatably supported, and an anvil member with which a free edge of the knife can be brought into contact upon rotation of the knife cylinder, whereby a travelling band-shaped sheet is nipped between the knife and the anvil member and is hence cut off. The knife is supported on the knife cylinder via a spring having spring force sufficient to bear cutting force required to cut off the band-shaped sheet so that the knife is displaceable in a loaded direction upon cutting off the band-shaped sheet. The rotary cutoff apparatus according to the present invention can be arranged, for example, in a production line for a band-shaped sheet material such as a corrugated fiberboard sheet.

  • Patent number: 6098687
Abstract: The present invention relates to a single facer, which comprises a humidifying and heating unit placed on the upstream side of an air pressurization corrugating mechanism for humidifying and heating a corrugating medium and a feed mechanism for supplying the corrugating medium, processed by the humidifying and heating unit, to the air pressurization corrugating mechanism at a given speed. The corrugating medium is supplied at the given speed after the humidification and heating process for the corrugating medium, so that an air pressure to be taken at the corrugation is reducible and a predetermined flute configuration is maintainable. In addition, the spring back of the corrugating medium hardly occurs, which makes it possible to manufacture a corrugated fiberboard sheet with a high shock absorbing ability.

Abstract: A ferroelectric memory has a memory cell screening test circuit connected to bit lines through switching transistors. In screening, at least one word line is selected, and data is simultaneously written in all memory cells connected to this word line. Since data is not restored after the rewrite, all FRAM cells can be screened under the same condition. By this circuit, a memory cell having a write failure according to the imprint characteristics inherent to the ferroelectric memory is screened.

  • Patent number: 5706576
Abstract: A lifting mechanism is arranged between a cartridge main body and a reel support member. With the cartridge main body set in a parts mounter, the lifting mechanism allows the reel support member to be supported by the cartridge main body so that the reel support member can be pivoted upward at a predetermined pivoting angle (set position PA.fwdarw.bar code read position PB). While cartridges are kept placed in the parts mounter, a parts supply reel attached to a given cartridge is made to project from other reels. This enables a bar code reader to read the parts code of a label adhered on one side surface of that reel.
