  • Patent number: 6784399
Abstract: An EOM Q-switched CO2 laser produces bursts of laser pulses delivered at a high PRF such as 20-140 kHz and having a short high-power spike of about 80-150 ns followed by a lower-power tail of about 0.05-12.0 &mgr;s. The bursts and/or laser pulses can be shaped by controlling the RF pumping duty cycle, the delay between the onset of RF pumping and the initiation of Q-switching, the pulse repetition frequency, and/or the duration of the tail. The bursts of laser pulses can be adapted to facilitate machining of metal layers and/or layers containing materials having disparate vaporization temperatures and/or disparate melting points, such as FR4 or green ceramics.

  • Patent number: 6765690
Abstract: This invention allows both a plateless textile printer that makes process color expression, and a plate textile printer to achieve equivalent color expressions. For this purpose, image data that uses an RGB pallet is converted into YMCK image data using a correction table. An ink-jet textile printer (14) prints on textile on the basis of the converted image data. On the other hand, the image data that uses the RGB pallet is sent to a plate separation data generation unit (15), and is separated into binary plate data, the number of which is the same as the number of ink colors of the ink-jet textile printer, using an RGB/ink color tone correction table to realize the same color expression as that of screen textile printing.

  • Publication number: 20030213787
Abstract: A diode-pumped, solid-state laser (52) of a laser system (50) provides ultraviolet Gaussian output (54) that is converted by a diffractive optical element (90) into shaped output (94) having a uniform irradiance profile. A high percentage of the shaped output (94) is focused through an aperture of a mask (98) to provide imaged to provide imaged shaped output (118). The laser system (50) facilitates a method for increasing the throughput of a via drilling process over that available with an analogous clipped Gaussian laser system. This method is particularly advantageous for drilling blind vias (20b) that have better edge, bottom, and taper qualities than those produced by a clipped Gaussian laser system. An alternative laser system (150) employs a pair of beam diverting galvanometer mirrors (152, 154) that directs the Gaussian output around a shaped imaging system (70) that includes a diffractive optical element (90) and a mask (98).

  • Publication number: 20010008537
Abstract: A SDH signal generation portion generates and outputs an SDH signal by increasing/decreasing the AU point values contained in the SDH signal, using a sequence pattern made of a plurality of arbitrary combinations of basic patterns, a single basic pattern being made of changing the AU pointer values successively for a predetermined repetition number of times with the same increase/decrease type and repetition cycle. A memory stores in a different memory area for each basic pattern, taking the increase/decrease type, repetition cycle and repetition number of times as one set of basic pattern information, for basic patterns used in the SDH signal generation portion, and, stores an address designating a memory area storing the basic pattern information of the basic pattern following its own basic pattern for respective basic pattern.

  • Publication number: 20010008526
Abstract: A SDH test apparatus substitutes a part of payload of received SDH data with a desired data and transmits. A FIFO memory is installed between the Rx AU processor and the Tx AU processor, stores sequentially AU data extracted by the Rx AU processor and outputs to the Tx AU processor in the order of memorization. An AU pointer processor outputs an AU pointer adjusting the number of data in the FIFO memory, allowing the Tx AU processor to read in payload of AU data, after a time lag (&Dgr;T2+&Dgr;T4) of information leading head position of payload generated by the processing of AU data by the Rx AU processor and the Tx AU processor, by extracting the number of data in the FIFO memory. The Tx AU processor is composed to read out the payload of AU data from the FIFO memory, generate AU data and output to the Tx SOH processor so that the information leading position is at the position designated by the AU pointer value output from the AU pointer processor.

  • Patent number: 6175424
Abstract: An image processing method and apparatus employing a cyclic error diffusion method for binarizing a basic image represented by multivalued data, in order to form a high quality image represented in pseudo tones with reduced noise caused by the binarization. When each pixel is sequentially binarized by applying the error diffusion method to the basic image, errors generated at one edge of the basic image are incorporated into the edge of the other side, and error diffusion is performed while incorporating the errors. Furthermore, a supplemental image, which is a part of the basic image, is added to the upper edge of the basic image to form a combined image, and the error diffusion processing is performed by utilizing the combined image. Upon completing the binarization processing, binary data in the lower edge portion of the supplemental image is compared with binary data in the corresponding lower edge portion of the basic image, and pixel values in the area are corrected based on the comparison result.

  • Patent number: 6121644
Abstract: Input/output terminals 10 made of a first aluminium wiring layer are provided within cells 3a to 3c in the same cell row 30. A plurality of mains 7a to 7c made of a second aluminium wiring layer, which are electrically independent of the input/output terminals 10 of the standard cells 3a to 3c, a power source wire 1 and a grounding wire 2, are arranged between the input/output terminals 10 of the standard cells 3 to be connected so that they extend in parallel with a cell row extending direction. Via holes 8 are provided in regions in which the input/output terminals 10 overlap the mains 7 two-dimensionally to make electrical connection between the input/output terminals 10 and the mains 7. Since the wirings in the same cell row are executed within the cells in the cell row, an integration degree can be improved.

  • Patent number: 5880503
Abstract: A titanium silicide (4) covers surfaces of P.sup.+ -type diffusion region (7) and N.sup.+ -type diffusion region (8) to electrically connect the diffusion regions (7, 8) through the titanium silicide (4), and a surface of the titanium silicide (4) is covered with an insulation film (10). A power supply potential applied to a metal wire (2) is thereby applied to an N.sup.+ -type diffusion region (6), an N well (12) and the N.sup.+ -type diffusion region (8) through a contact hole (3) and further supplied for the P.sup.+ -type diffusion region (7) serving as a source region of PMOS transistor through the titanium silicide (4). That eliminates the need for providing any contact for supplying the diffusion regions 7 and 8 with the power supply potential to attain reduction in layout size, while preventing a latch-up. Thus, the N well-source structure of a semiconductor integrated circuit device including an SRAM with Full CMOS structure eliminates the need for providing a contact on the surfaces of the P.sup.

  • Patent number: 5557270
Abstract: A decoder has first and second decoder circuits for producing dual sets of outputs. The first decoder circuit is responsive to input lines B.sub.1 -B.sub.n representative of a binary value x and has first outputs Z.sub.1 -Z.sub.m where m=2.sup.n. In response to the value x applied to the first decoder, output line Z.sub.x+1 is set high while the remainder are set low. The second decoder circuit comprises m transmission gates serially connected between a first and a second potential. The transmission gates are each directly driven by a respective one of said first outputs Z.sub.1 -Z.sub.m. The second decoder circuit generates second outputs Y.sub.1 -Y.sub.m-1 at junctions of the transmission gates. In response to the value x applied to the first decoder, x number of the outputs Y.sub.1 -Y.sub.m-1 are set high beginning with the least significant output Y.sub.1 and continuing consecutively up to the output Y.sub.x with the remainder being set low.

  • Patent number: 5064881
Abstract: Disclosed is an epoxy resin composition comprising, as basic components, (A) an epoxy resin, (B) a phenol-novolak resin, (C) a curing promotor and (D) a filler. Pulverized or spherical silica having specific particle size characteristics is used as the filler (D). Preferably, a halogenated epoxy resin and antimony oxide are further incorporated in this epoxy resin. This epoxy resin composition shows a very small molding shrinkage. If a dialkylurea derivative is used as the curing promotor (C), the stability of the composition at about 100.degree. C. is drastically improved and the flowability of the composition is improved. Accordingly, precision injection molding becomes possible, and the effect of sealing a semiconductor is enhanced.
