  • Patent number: 8788143
Abstract: A method for testing a hydraulic braking system. The method includes activating a brake master cylinder of the braking system mechatronically, and measuring a set of measured decision ratios pertaining to the distance travelled by the piston of the brake master cylinder to the corresponding pressure developed in the brake fluid. The measured decision ratios are then compared with a set of reference decision ratios. In a case where the measured decision ratios lie within a predetermined range, it is detected that the braking system is correctly filled with the brake fluid. However, in a case where the measured decision ratios lie outside the predetermined range, it is determined that the braking system has not been correctly filled with the brake fluid and some air is present in the brake fluid flow circuit of the braking system.

  • Publication number: 20130311100
Abstract: A method of processing seismic data including measurement data and their gradients to obtain gradients of move-out corrected data, comprising deriving gradients of the measurement data, deriving a first term comprising applying a move-out correction function to the measurement data; deriving a second term by applying the move-out correction function to the gradients and deriving gradients of move-out corrected data by adding the first term and the second term. The gradients of move-out corrected data are used to process physical properties of the earth's interior. The method may be used prior to any data processing algorithm which uses measurement gradient data in which move-out correction is applied prior to the algorithm, either because the algorithm makes a zero offset assumption or because it is beneficial for the algorithm to operate on move-out corrected data to reduce aliasing.

  • Publication number: 20130284552
Abstract: A hydraulic brake device includes a main body, a brake lever, a hydraulic rod, a connecting rod, a sleeve member and an elastic member. The elastic member has an assembling portion, a driving portion and a deformation portion. When a user actuates the brake lever suddenly and forcefully, the driving portion of the elastic member moves toward the hydraulic room; a pressure of hydraulic oil pushes the driving portion so as to indirectly force the deformation portion to deform and bend, so that the deformation portion and the driving portion slightly move toward the assembling portion; thereby, a volume of hydraulic oil is smoothly pushed into a brake caliper through a hydraulic pipeline, such that the user brakes a bicycle stably, smoothly and safely.

  • Publication number: 20130245955
Abstract: A method for predicting a plurality of surface multiples for a plurality of target traces in a record of seismic data acquired in a survey area. The method includes selecting a target trace and identifying two or more desired traces for multiple prediction based on the target trace. After identifying the desired traces, the method identifies one or more recorded traces for each desired trace. Each identified recorded trace is described as being substantially close to one of the desired traces. The method then includes correcting the identified recorded traces for one or more geometry-related effects associated with the survey area and convolving the corrected recorded traces to generate a plurality of convolutions. After convolving the corrected recorded traces, the method then stacks the convolutions.
