  • Patent number: 9109710
Abstract: A system for automatically metering liquid or paste-like auxiliary washing agents stored in reservoirs for automatically controlled washing machines. It has a central fluid line disposed in a housing bottom and a plurality of nozzles disposed in the housing bottom on a circular line extending concentrically to the axis of a rotor. The nozzles can be connected individually to the outlet by a connecting line inside the motor-drivable rotor. In the connection to the connecting line, seals are provided. Due to a force continually axially acting on the rotor in the direction of the housing bottom, said rotor presses the seals until the contact surfaces of the rotor and the housing bottom substantially form a common plane.

  • Patent number: 8863340
Abstract: Flowable laundry treatment agents can be added in automatically metered dosages via a metering line to a laundry treatment process by means of an automatic metering system comprising a reservoir. Advantageously, a metering line of is flushed with a rinsing agent, particularly water, after adding a dose. In order to prevent the development of germs in the residues of the rinsing agents, comprising diluted residues of laundry treatment agents, when remaining in the fluid lines for a longer period of time, exemplary embodiments of the invention provide for the metering line to be flushed immediately before adding a dose.

  • Patent number: 8726440
Abstract: A method for determining a target rotational speed below an application rotational speed of a washing drum of a laundry treatment device having a drive and a vibrating system, wherein a dependence of a mechanical effect on items to be washed located in the washing drum on the respective nominal speed of the washing drum is used to ascertain the target rotational speed at which the mechanical effect is at the greatest. The mechanical effect at a respective target rotational speed is ascertained by measuring vibrating system movements of the vibrating system which exhibit greater frequency than the respective target rotational speed. The rotational speed at which the maximum vibrating system movement was measured is selected for carrying out the washing care procedure. The advantage of such a method is that the washing mechanics can be increased, thus improving the cleaning efficiency.

  • Patent number: 8510886
Abstract: A method for accelerating the wetting of washing in the variable-speed drum of a drum washing machine. A quantity of fresh water is introduced according to the determined quantity of laundry. The drum is driven at intervals and in a reversing manner in successive phases for a first determined length of time at an rpm which is adapted to the washing. The drum is stopped and/or driven at an rpm adapted to the wetting of the washing for a second pre-determined length of time, such that the water is especially effectively distributed over the washing by means of ladling devices located on the drum. The required quantity of washing liquid for the following washing phase is determined once the drum is driven at intervals and in a reversing manner at an rpm adapted to the washing after the second pre-determined length of time has come to an end.
