Publication number: 20080115294Abstract: A method for cleaning and restoring a hydrophobic effect of textiles in a domestic washing machine in which hydrophobic substances dissolved in the washing liquid are contacted with the textiles during a treatment process. A washing process for cleaning the textiles while adding a special detergent is carried out in the presence of an inflow of fresh water, and at the end thereof, the used washing liquid is pumped off. The soapy water used for the preceding process is replaced and a multi-stage rinsing process is carried out for the textiles. After termination of the rinsing process, the last rinsing water is replaced and the hydrophobic substances are added to a newly supplied amount of fresh water, and a treatment process for waterproofing the textiles is carried out in an additive-containing washing liquid and the used additive-containing washing liquid is removed without repeating the rinsing process.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 21, 2005Publication date: May 22, 2008Applicant: BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgerate GmbHInventors: Hartmut Schaub, Ingo Schulze

Publication number: 20080110042Abstract: A method and a device for drying wet washing that has been placed in a drier device equipped with a rotatable drum. The stream of drying air is guided in such a way that the surface of the washing to be dried that is exposed to said stream is maximised. To achieve this, the invention provides a washing spacer, at least some sections of which are flexible and on which the washing to be dried can be placed. The spacer can then be rolled up together with the washing to be dried into a preferably cylindrical form. The washing spacer and the wet washing, which is rolled with a radial distance between its layers, is connected in an air-conductive, sealed manner to the extraction opening, allowing the stream of drying air to be guided through the washing spacer and the washing to be dried. Said method is extremely effective and reduces the drying times.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 18, 2005Publication date: May 15, 2008Applicant: BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH üInventors: Uwe Ackermann, Lothar Dittmer, Uwe-Jens Krausch, Harald Moschutz, Kai Nitschmann, Ingo Schulze, Andreas Stolze

Publication number: 20080047076Abstract: A method for creating a hydrophobic effect of textiles in a washing machine. Hydrophobic agents dissolved in the washing liquid are contacted with the textiles during a treatment process. The tub is filled with an amount of water which is proportioned and which is heated to a minimum temperature in the tub while the textiles are soaked. The hydrophobic agent is flushed from the detergent storage chamber into the lye container by means of water and forms a washing liquid along with the water. The textiles are contacted with the washing liquid and are treated for a maximum of 30 minutes. The washing liquid is removed from the textiles and the washing liquid container by spin-drying without rinsing.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 19, 2005Publication date: February 28, 2008Applicant: BSH BOSCH UND SIEMENS HAUSGERÄTE GMBHInventors: Hartmut Schaub, Ingo Schulze

Publication number: 20080028801Abstract: To optimize the completeness, uniformity and reproducibility of a wetting process in a program-controlled washing machine, which can be adjusted according to the amount of laundry in a washing drum, which is rotationally mounted in a lye container about a non-vertical axis by means of a water supply system and by means a control device, said process being temporally controlled by the supply of water into the lye container. According to the invention, the wetting process is divided up into a series of phases corresponding to the various amounts (small, medium, large) of laundry that is to be treated. As a result, it is possible to adapt the wetting process according to the number and formation of individual phases in relation to the amount of laundry that is to be treated.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 2, 2005Publication date: February 7, 2008Applicant: BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgeraete GmbHInventors: Gundula Czyzewski, Oliver Ruediger, Ingo Schulze

Publication number: 20070130699Abstract: The washing process W does not immediately begin with a heating phase tIK-tOS at the beginning of a wash program with an untypically cold supply of water when a heating device is turned on, but rather once a delay phase D has elapsed. Said washing process ends after a post-wash phase without adding any heat energy once a defined constant time tEK-tOK has elapsed after the delay phase. The temperature of the water or lye at the end of or after the end of the period during which water is added F is determined. If the determined temperature is less than a standard value S for the amount of water which has freshly run into the lye container prior to the beginning of the washing process W, the heating device is turned on and the beginning of the washing process is postponed according to a defined duration of time D.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 28, 2004Publication date: June 14, 2007Applicant: BSH Bosch und Hausgerate GmbHInventors: Gundula Czyzewski, Christine Meissner, Ingo Schulze, Martina Wobkemeier

Publication number: 20060125428Abstract: In an anti-crease operation incorporated after the program sections wash and spin to loosen laundry in the drum, the user should be offered the possibility of being able to actively influence this operation. For selecting the adjustable parameters for the duration and sequence of the anti-crease program the user is supported by a display and can depart upward or downward from predetermined values dependent on type or textile and loading after checking for compatibility. The detachment of the laundry ring at the inner wall of the drum can be monitored by measuring valid variables of state as a criterion for loosened and disentangled laundry at the beginning of the anti-crease operation in the reversing phases and comparing these with desired data which were determined in a short analysis section installed before the beginning of the actual wash program. As a result, errors in identifying a laundry ring can be largely avoided.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 12, 2003Publication date: June 15, 2006Applicant: BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgerate GmbHInventors: Ingo Schulze, Martina Wobkemeier

Publication number: 20050204481Abstract: A method for accelerating the wetting of washing in the variable-speed drum of a drum washing machine. A quantity of fresh water is introduced according to the determined quantity of laundry. The drum is driven at intervals and in a reversing manner in successive phases for a first determined length of time at an rpm which is adapted to the washing. The drum is stopped and/or driven at an rpm adapted to the wetting of the washing for a second pre-determined length of time, such that the water is especially effectively distributed over the washing by means of ladling devices located on the drum. The required quantity of washing liquid for the following washing phase is determined once the drum is driven at intervals and in a reversing manner at an rpm adapted to the washing after the second pre-determined length of time has come to an end.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 27, 2005Publication date: September 22, 2005Applicant: BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgerate GmbHInventors: Gundula Czyzewski, Ingo Schulze
